Too short of a getaway

We enjoyed the location immensely. If there was a negative about the trip is that there was construction going on to the adjacent property. However, we would like to come again and stay. Even with the construction next-door we tried to extend our stay one more day and we’re unable to. Thank you, Christy.

I stayed at the Blue View for my daughter’s baby shower. The location, location to the ocean were breath taking. I will be requesting a repeat stay in a few weeks when the baby is born.

Great location and views: bring earplugs and wineglass

We stayed here last year, and enjoyed the lovely view, clean facility, and private beach access. We were excited for our return trip this year, and even booked the same room, as we had such a great time on our first trip in 2023! However, something must have changed over the past year, as upon entering the room, I went to go out the back sliding glass door to access the lovely view of the beach, but the sliding door lock was mangled and falling out of the door. The only way to lock the sliding door during our stay was with the security bar. As I went to pour a glass of wine for me and my wife, I went into the pantry where the listing said there were dishes, but there was only 1 wine glass. The beach chairs, and amenities outside were nice, but there were people smoking outside their rooms on their porches, even though this property was advertised on their website as no smoking inside or out. We also had trouble sleeping at night- the beds were nice- but we could hear the microwave from another unit being used numerous times between midnight and 1:30am, and the tv was left on high volume all night long from another unit for 3 of our 4 nights, so we did not get much sleep. We ended up using a white noise app on our phone to help, but it was sad because we enjoy listening to the waves in our oceanfront room. None of these were issues back in 2023, as this was a quiet, private, and intimate escape, so I hope this was an off long weekend.

Our stay was wonderful! Property was very clean and well maintained. Our room had an awesome view, just as described. Even had a bottle of wine waiting on the table, a nice little gesture! Absolutely no complaints. 10/10 if we were to come back to the area I'll be checking to see if that's available again!
