OCEANFRONT MELBOURNE BEACH QUAINT OASIS WITH OCEAN VIEW
Three units on one floor rented separately but certainly could be rented together for extended family
Enjoy a 10% discount one booking for a week and enjoy a 15% discount when booking for one month
Your two bedroom, air conditioned, non smoking oceanfront apartment has a living room with adjacent dining area, a separate fully equipped kitchen and two private bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds and a full bathroom. The living room and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Cable TV, and unsecured WIFI are provided.
The kitchen contains a full size stove and refrigerator, a microwave, toaster and coffee maker plus all dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware. Bed linens, towels and washcloths are also provided.
There is also a laundry area with a washer and a dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheet are provided.
We supply to make your stay more comfortable picnic tables, grills, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys.
Enjoy the beautiful blue ocean in your backyard! Become lost in paradise with splendid sunrises!
This is a fishermen paradise
enjoy adorable sandpiper and the pelicans. Look closely at the ocean to see the dolphins, manatees and if you are lucky you might get a glimpse of a passing whale and her calf during their reproductive season.
Melbourne Beach is part of the only known calving grounds for the entire North Atlantic of Right Whale species. The Right Whale is an endangered specie with only 336 individuals left and only about 70 reproductive females remaining. Call in all whale sightings to the whale hotline @ 1-888-979-4253 which is the Marine Resources Council with there wonderful North Atlantic Right Whale program
During Turtle season you can experience turtle nesting and hatching of Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles.
Activities in the area include, hiking, boating, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bowling, golfing, snorkeling, pier fishing and surfing.
Barrier Island Sanctuary is a short drive south with many educational exhibits, films and special activities.
In the city of Melbourne are theaters, symphony orchestra, art museum, zoo, botanical gardens and minor league baseball. Cape Canaveral, Disney, and Orlando attraction are an easy drive away.

Turtle Run

Beautiful private beach which doesn't get crowded in a sea turtle nesting area. During the nights of my families stay dozens of sea turtles arrived to lay eggs. Swimming, collecting sea shells, spotting dolphins and seabirds made for a perfect family vacation at the beach.

Great location, very clean, all the amenities you would need, a couple of areas to work remotely if needed, grill and beach equipment to use, and great communication and hosts. Had a great time and looking forward to a return trip to this quiet beach area.

Relaxing getaway!

We loved the location of place! We had the beach to ourselves! It was easy to get to shopping areas, grocery stores etc. The area is quaint and quiet for a Thanksgiving getaway. The hosts were easy to work with and the process was easy. We are likely to try to book this again next Thanksgiving if possible. Thank you!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We are a working couple from Orlando and needed some time alone together at the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of daily routines. This was the perfect escape for us. We were able to work remotely while enjoying each other and the ocean.

Paradise

We had an absolutely marvelous time. The rooms were spotless and had everything we could ever need. The beach was fantastic with very few people on it. It was like we had our own private beach. We saw turtles, dolphins, birds, and even a manatee! We will definitely plan to come back to Turtle Run.

Everything good.

Our first stay at Turtle Run, but not our first visit to Melbourne Beach. We love this area already. The accommodation was pretty much perfect. We had everything we needed, plenty of space, nice kitchen, porch and patio. Right on the beach, quiet. There are nice restaurants around, but cooked at home a lot, including the outdoor grill. Will definitely will return. Thank you Joe and Marlene.

Just does not get better

It was exactly as presented in the listing. A little slice of paradise on the beach. Everything was exactly as it should be and any problems were corrected immediately. Our hosts were eager to satisfy our needs. We were excited to be able to see 2 launches from our backyard. It was almost like having a private beach because we saw few people when we walked on the beach.

This property is just simply perfect for a beach vacation. The pictures are exactly what you get. The beach could almost be considered private there is absolutely no crowding. The owners are extremely easy to work with and communication is top notch. We will be back.

This was a great place for us: a little remote, and very quiet. The vacationers in the neighboring units were appropriately "neighborly", and Joe & Marlene (the owners) were superb hosts. We're already planning our return.

Good location

We had a mostly enjoyable stay in the apartment that was even better than the photos show. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed and there were extra towels and beach supplies. The location was great. Our primary issue happened at the end when we realized on the last day there were cameras pointed at the yard so guests were in frame any time grilling, eating outside or relaxing. At the time this was not disclosed on the ad, and it seems the owner has now included specifics which is a good step. (We have stayed at properties with cameras, but they were always disclosed. We called VRBO that evening to confirm the policy). We had been looking forward to future stays at this location as the apartment is really perfect. But the camera location is just a turnoff. Perhaps one pointed from the doors toward the beach would suit the security requirements while still giving guests some modicum of privacy while sitting by the picnic tables. However, with the new disclosure, if you are comfortable with the camera locations, I would definitely recommend the apartment for a beach stay.
