Upstairs, the good size double bedroom has an en suite shower room, a balcony and a separate terrace providing a choice of sun bathing spots as well as very attractive views of the sea and Greek mainland. Externally, a shaded dining/seating area, large L-shaped swimming pool with family friendly Roman steps, and a spacious sun terrace with glimpses of the sea through the olive trees all make al fresco living a joy. Home to one of the island’s finest and most expansive sea views, nearby Spartohori (750m) also has essential amenities that include a minimarket, bakery and archetypal local taverna with a more comprehensive choice and a good selection of waterside eateries found at Vathy (4.1km). Beaches are many, varied and easily accessed, the nearest being at Porto Spilia (1.9km) where there is also a minimarket, popular beach bar and café.
