Gorgeous 5-bedroom home on Lake Michigan—entire home available! Relax and unwind at our quiet lakefront property between Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Pentwater. Soak in the sunset from our hot tub overlooking majestic Lake Michigan, recline with morning coffee on one of our three decks, and warm up in front of one of our four fireplaces. Perfect for families and friends! NEW stairs to Lake Michigan on our property now provide access to the lake! Ours is a destination property!

Our luxurious lake house rests atop a small bluff overlooking mighty Lake Michigan on a quiet, residential road. Experience stunning sunsets over Lake Michigan from our hot tub or reclining on the deck. Arise each morning and raise the blinds to see how Lake Michigan is feeling that day. Relax with coffee, tea, or cocoa in one of our two spacious living rooms, on the side or back deck, or on the private Master-suite balcony. Bring groceries to prepare in our fully stocked kitchen or venture out to eat at one of the many restaurants and open-air bars in Mears, Silver Lake, Hart, Pentwater, or Ludington.

With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking majestic Lake Michigan, our sprawling master bedroom encompasses the top (third) floor of this five-bedroom home. This bedroom boasts a comfy king bed, private bath, dedicated workspace with Lake Michigan view, fireplace with smart TV over the mantle, sofa bed, and private balcony overlooking Lake Michigan--perfect for quiet morning coffee and sunset views. Our master bath includes a jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

The main (second) floor has two living areas. One has a TV with a gaming system and DVD player, a game table with poker and bumper pool, and a gas fireplace with a couch and two recliners. The other overlooks Lake Michigan with several reclining chairs and a couch to enjoy the view. It has a smart TV, gas fireplace, and coffee bar.

Our fully stocked kitchen has a refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, hot water spigot for tea, electric range/oven, microwave, and coffee pot/ Keurig combo. Two stools sit at the large countertop.

The cathedral-ceiling sunroom provides plenty of natural light for the 12-place dining-room table. Also on this floor is a bedroom with a bunk bed (full bed on bottom, twin bed on top), full bath with shower, and washer/dryer.

The first-floor master bedroom has a California King Smart-Number bed with remotes, gas fireplace, sofa bed, and smart TV. The first-floor bath boasts a multi-jet shower with a child safety valve for temperature (that can be adjusted for adults). Also on this floor are two other bedrooms: one with a queen bed and one with a full-twin bunkbed. There is a closet in each room. We provide spare pillows and blankets.

In addition to the private master balcony, our lake house has two decks. The back deck overlooks Lake Michigan and holds a six-person hot tub, four Adirondack chairs, a gas fire table, a warm-water outdoor shower, and a patio furniture set with umbrella that seats seven. The front deck has a large Weber grill and patio table and chairs with an umbrella that seats six. We also provide four lounge chairs, puzzles and games throughout the house, lots of books, and a corn hole set. In addition to cookware, dinnerware, and silverware, we offer wine glasses and beer mugs as well as plastic dishes/cups for outdoor use.

We provide some coffee, teas, and cocoa for our guests, as well as Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

We will provide you with a key code for the main entrance as well as other important information to make check-in easy. We provide a binder in the kitchen to assist you with any information you will need in order to use the hot tub, TVs, fireplaces, coffee maker, etc. We also have recorded videos linked to QR codes (provided in the binder) to demonstrate how to use each item.

We love connecting with our guests to help you enjoy your experience to the fullest! We are happy to connect with you through the booking site prior to arrival. Once you arrive, we will give you a phone number to text or call us with any questions.

This was probably the best property we’ve rented in the last decade through VRBO. Beautiful location, secluded, safe, and a beautiful home with beautiful views overlooking like Michigan. We will definitely try to stay here again as long as it stays affordable.. great place for a large family with kids and adults to hang out, watch TV, play games.

Best family vacation the lake house was beautiful. Plenty of space for the whole family. Every room was stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms even tons of games and coloring books for everyone. Great Getaway on the Lake

This is a lovely, spacious house, with great amenities. The kitchen is well equipped. The master suite on top floor with balcony is luxurious! We were a family of five, all adults, and we spread out through the house quite comfortably. The outside deck space we used all during the day and evening. We made a few fun trips into Pentwater and Ludington which are only 30-40 minutes away by car. Steffany and Doug are gracious and attentive hosts. We were having trouble figuring out the TV the first night, and Doug made himself available by phone to help us work it out.

Christmas on Lake Michigan

This is an excellent home right on the shores of Lake Michigan. The lake side of the home has great views with windows all the way across. The main bedroom is on the upper level with floor to ceiling windows facing the water. Steffany is a great host, communicated all needed information in a timely manner! We can’t say enough about the beautiful home on Lake Michigan! We were there for a family wedding in November and enjoyed every minute of the stay. The property had everything we needed and so much more. Everyone had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed all of the extra games and accommodations. The views were amazing and the sounds of the waves from the lake created such a peaceful experience. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer!

Gorgeous and comfortable house

We loved this house. On the top flour and the basement level, there are master suites that are huge and beautifully decorated with separate setting areas. The main floor also has two seating areas so there is tons of room. The view is beautiful and we spent a lot of time just enjoying it. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is like new.

Fabulous Vacation Property

This house had it all: enough room for family of 12, ages 1 to 73, to reunite for a week of fun and sun; super comfortable king mattresses and good bed configurations to accommodate single adults; games, TVs, magazines and books for those non-beach lovers; close proximity to dunes, restaurants, grocery stores, beaches; beautiful setting with a large yard and gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Kitchen has adequate counter space and cooking equipment, but needs a large 12-15” saute pan to ideally prepare food for 12. We had a wonderful stay!

Perfect week!

This place has everything you need to ensure a perfect vacation! The cottage is beautiful and the sunsets can’t be beat. The host has thought of everything, provides a binder of helpful hints and videos and is available if you have any questions. The cottage is located close to the Silver Lake sand dunes, Little Sable Point lighthouse, Hart and Pentwater, just to name a few fun things to do. We all had a great week!

Nice spacious house by the lake

Beautiful home with great views of the lake. Stairs down to the lake were fine for us but it's definitely something to take into consideration with little ones, elderly or handicapped individuals. Communication with owners was good, there are a lot of rules/instructions to follow (QR codes for videos) which is understandable for a house that size but not exactly what you want to do when you arrive from a long drive. I recommend less videos and more bullet points. I also recommend alerting guests when service people arrive. We had set up our games outside and 5 minutes later the lawn service arrived and we had to move it all. We also were about to jump in the jacuzzi tub after a swim when two service men arrived to shock it. Oddly enough that's all they did, not even a vacuum. Notice would have been nice. Two canoes and some other water items are available after signing waivers. With the price paid for this house the water items should not be complimentary but rather included. This was our first experience with these items being referred to a complimentary. I think the waivers are definitely necessary but should be a part of the contract. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need as far as appliances, just bring a good knife. Lot's of games and a game table was a plus for us. Overall the home and location to the lake was wonderful. Great for large groups and families. Lovely place to stay.

Majestic Views!

Steffany and Doug were fantastic host's! They were quick and helpful! The house and property were even better than described. There were 9 people and everyone was very comfortable. Extraordinary House for a group!

THANK YOU for an AMAZING experience at Lake Michigan. We had a family reunion here with 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Mom and Dad LOVED the master bedroom and everyone was comfortable. We adored being here and are incredibly grateful for the attention to detail. We loved sitting on the deck and in the LR looking out. The Qcode videos provided were a fabulous idea and helped us to enjoy the two kayaks when the lake calmed. We can't say enough positive things about the house and the location! We'd love to return!
