WATER ACCESS NOTE
All lakefront docks in this area are privately owned and not included with your reservation. Guests cannot use docks unless designated as public access. For water activities, we recommend Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow Falls, the Aquatic Center (kayak/jet ski rentals), or CARC for pool access.
WINTER DRIVING & ACCESS
Deep Creek is a mountain destination where winter weather changes quickly. Good news: our driveway and access roads are professionally plowed and salted.
Road Conditions: Route 219 (main access road) is well-maintained by the county and typically cleared first. During active snowfall or icy conditions, 4WD/AWD is strongly recommended. Front-wheel drive vehicles may struggle in heavier snow.
What to Expect: Allow extra travel time during winter storms. Check local weather before arrival and contact us with any questions about road conditions.
Location Note: Route 219 runs near the home, making access convenient but resulting in some road noise outdoors. All bedrooms include sound machines to ensure restful sleep.
