Allison, Christopher and their son Kyler (sp?) were fantastic hosts! Very friendly and accommodating. Their apartment was perfect for our group of 4 adults this past weekend. Most times, we don't spend a lot of time at our getaway rentals, but as the weather was sunny and in the upper 80's, we took advantage of the pool area, which was spotlessly clean, and a great way to refresh on hot days. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future, and almost definitely will do so.

Comfortable, cozy place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are very comfortable as is the sofa and chair with ottoman. There are extra blankets and plenty of pillows and towels. The fridge had bottles of water and they also had coffee supplies. The pool was clean and the deck was nice. The owner, Christopher, was very responsive when we had Qs about the a/c and the checkout process. The only thing I have that could improve the property is- there are any hangers in the closets (I brought my own so I didn’t ask for any) and also there is some mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom is otherwise very clean, but there isn’t an exhaust fan or ceiling fan so I suspect that contributes. I didn’t say anything to the owner about this as I don’t think anything could have been done during our 2 night visit. I would stay here again.

Loud Personal Basement-Would not recommend for dog owners. High clearance vehicles recommended.

Treacherous driveway in, hope you have high clearance for even my all-wheel drive vehicle’s undercarriage was scraped up pretty badly before even reaching the house. At the house, there’s a paved driveway for owners, but we were asked to pull off of that to park in the designated muddy pit signed as “guest parking”. Arrived in the pouring rain and called the owner to help find the keys. Instead of answering the phone call they came out to conduct business in the rain while my dog was going crazy with them in their eyesight (instead of just answering the phone call from our dry, quiet car). Wish we could have signed up for a NO CONACT check-in option here. There were so many people walking upstairs that our dog never relaxed. We had to leave and sleep elsewhere.Property listed as having a pool amenity, even when it’s closed in the off season. Pool is not private, but shared. Not secluded or quiet as expected with such a large family upstairs. We could never recommend for any reactive dog families.

Quiet and Comfy!

My first time renting a space of someone's house so I thought it would have made it uncomfortable, however, this was none of those. Chris and Allison had made this a memorable experience. Not once did we feel unsafe. I did not have to contact them due to everything being thought out ahead of time. Place was very clean and accommodating and felt like a home away from home. When we go to our next concert at Star Lake, this will always be our first option. Did I mention they have a guitar you can play? Heart strings tugged!!

Perfect place for my weekend

Place is exactly like the pictures. Clean and well appointed so I could prepare my own food. They even had coffee pods! Bed was very comfortable. I was in the area for a dog event. This was located 20 mins away. Nice to be able to walk straight out into the yard with my pup.

Great getaway

Beautiful out in the country. The place was spacious, very clean, and the beds were super comfy! The hosts were very accommodating, had great communication skills, and even left us snacks! Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious Bedroom Apartment

Surprisingly spacious basement apartment. The owners clearly put in a lot of effort to make it feel warm and inviting. It was very clean and had clearly been recently renovated. All of the furnishing were new and comfortable, and the rooms were pretty big.It's pretty far outside of of the city, near Fort Cherry HS. And up a dirt road, which was a bit tough in the snow. But maybe that's because I'm from Carolina.

Comfortable and Peaceful

Very nice place, as pictured. The property is located out in beautiful countryside. We enjoyed sky watching from the deck. We had everything we needed; towels, dishes, etc. I will definitely try to stay here again!

Weekend in the Burgh

This apartment was the perfect size for our weekend trip to celebrate our son's 21st birthday! Also, the "man cave " feel was very fitting! The hosts thought of everything, including snacks and drinks, which was helpful considering the nearest store is 25 minutes away and we had a very long drive to get to the property. The unit was very clean and the surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely consider booking again, especially for concerts at Star Lake.

Great place to crash, just a short distance from the Pavillion

Everything was as advertised and the house was very clean. The pool deck was nice and the blackstone grill was fantastic. Owner was easy going and prompt to reply the couple times I contacted him. Would absolutely recommend. Has zero issues during our 3 night stay!
