This large, family-friendly home sits right between the Payette Lakes, less than two miles from the heart of downtown McCall. This home backs right up to the McCall Golf Club, a beautiful course surrounded by forests that offer many challenging holes, and you can tee off just a mile from this home. Just a little further up the road, access Payette Lake, where boating, fishing, and swimming await you. But if you prefer to stay on dry land, the scenic hiking trails of Ponderosa State Park are only a couple of miles away.

Inside, the sunlit living area features floor-to-ceiling windows, a warming gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and a TV, making it the ideal place for everyone to gather after days out exploring, playing on the lakes, or skiing at Brundage Mountain. Prepare home-cooked meals for the entire crew in the well-equipped, complete with a breakfast bar, and then dine together at the nearby table. This home also includes a game room with a pool table, wet bar, and an additional seating area. Or step outside onto your furnished deck and enjoy the expansive golf course view while you fire up the gas grill for summertime cookouts.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

New Years Relaxation

We met up with friends for a New Years getaway. This house comfortably fit our two families (4 adults, 5 older kids). The three levels made it feel roomy and we could all be together or spread out. The kitchen was well stocked so we could make meals. The view was gorgeous and sitting by the fire watching the snow was amazing. The only downside would be the televisions were very small and difficult to watch football or a movie together. I would also caution anyone with mobility challenges as the walk downhill a snowy walk way and up about seven stairs to get to the front entrance was difficult.Once in, you could open the garage and exit that way.Overall, it was a nice home and we would stay here again.

weekend in McCall

Very nice stay for a group of 12. Vacasa was very responsive and easy to get in and out. Great location and neighborhood. Fireplace is very difficult to work, only had Friday. would definetly stay again.

Great layout but a bit run down

We enjoyed the nice views from the deck and outdoor space by the fire pit. The house is well built and sound proof. It was a hot week and there was no AC but there were many fans available for use throughout the house which was helpful. Unfortunately, the house is in need of a deep clean. We recognize there is probably just not enough time for appropriate cleaning between renters. Multiple pills were found on the carpet which could have been very dangerous for our kids. The carpet is in dire need of a deep clean/shampoo. The oven didn't work. We notified the management company and they came to check it within one day and were pleasant but indicated they would provide a timeline for the fix and that never came (was broken all week). The grill probably needs replaced or significant repair. Some burners did not work, the automatic lighter did not work, and it needed a good clean. The deck is wobbly and I would be careful having more than a few people on it. I asked for a partial refund and received only a 4-5% refund (unacceptably low given the above issues). Overall - it should have been better taken care of/maintained for the nightly rate.

Great floor plan for family gathering! Already booked for same time next year!

A few things still need fixing. Past comments, prior to our arrival and messaged to Vacasa, had mentioned broken ice makers, both upstairs fridge and downstairs mini fridge, and still broken when we arrived. The oven was broken. Upstairs king bedroom door would not close, giving no privacy to those occupying room. Main screen door to deck is ripped and has hole around handle, so flying insects became a problem. None of the TV’s cable worked at all. All these issues are very fixable, and for the price we paid these items should be immediately addressed for a 100% satisfying stay. We are hoping next year’s booking at this house will not have these same problems for our stay.

Beautiful views with small inconveniences

The views were great but several things could have been better. The blankets on the beds were not very warm and there were no extra blankets in the house to use. The pillows were very thing and there was only 1 per bed. There were not enough garbage sacks, dishwasher soap, paper towels or toilet paper for our weekend stay. Very frustrating when you have to go to the store for house necessities during your stay. Also a 10am check out is way to early to be able to have a breakfast clean up and then pack up your stay. Every place we have ever stayed has has an 11 or 12 check out. Otherwise the house was well stocked with spices, pots, pans, and dinnerware.

Perfect!

The home was wonderful. It had everything that we needed for a family gathering. Very clean, comfortable, and the view was great. It was my grandchildren’s first time seeing snow and having so much in the backyard was perfect. They also loved the deer in the neighborhood.

Overall the property was nice and in a great location with plenty of room. We had a great time with a few minor disappointments. There were numerous lights that didn’t work. There was a pool table but only one pool cue. The gas fireplace in the living room didn’t work. There’s a leak of some kind in the downstairs bathroom ceiling. A few minor repairs and some TLC and this place could be great but I don’t think I would stay at this property again

awesome home for large family vacation

Beautiful views from this large comfortable home. It was perfect for our large family on our daughter's wedding weekend. Plenty of room, great deck for entertaining, fire pit and comfortable bedrooms. The only slight complaint is the carpet is stained and needs cleaning or replacement.

Great Quiet Getaway

We absolutely loved the spacious and clean home. It was well-stocked in the kitchen, which I couldn't find in the listing (crockpot, coffee maker, blender ...). We had a maintenance issue with the ice maker and when they couldn't fix it without inconveniencing us, they brought us bagged ice. Quiet location, deer and raccoons on the property. Hammocks were a hit. Plenty of games, puzzles, even some toys, videos. Good location to drive to Riggens, Oxbow Oregon, Cascade, Goose Lake, Boulder Lake - hiking, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, jetboat, white water rafting. LOTS to do.

McCall Stay

Great property and beautiful house. Had all the comforts of home. Couple of items: Could not get main fireplace to start. Second (lower lockbox) did not work-only had one set of keys. Coffee making did not heat the coffee very well.

Birthday retreat

House was great. We were a mixed group of several couples and children, this house allowed for space and privacy. The layout is perfect. Our only complaint would be the house lacked blankets. If you rent during the cold months be sure to bring some of extra blankets.
