Welcome to the Jewel on the River, a scenic getaway located near the St. Clair River in Marysville, MI. This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath condo offers easy access to one of Michigan's beautiful Great Lakes, Lake Huron, via a short drive by car or by boat. Wake up to majestic freighters gliding by on the river and enjoy Michigan freshwater with access to a riverfront private beach across the street.

Our condo is perfect for a riverview getaway, with 2 large sectional couches in the living room flowing directly into the dining space and kitchen. Guests have access to our patios with comfortable furniture and a firepit.

This condo is one of 3 condos available in a large house. You are renting Unit 4. This is condo has a first and second floor. You access this condo through a shared foyer/entryway with one other condo, with your own key to your condo. Our patio, front deck, and private beach is available to guests in all 3 condos.

There is plenty of parking available for all guests.

The host was very good about communicating and the property was fine for a warm place to stay. We did have to replace batteries in 4 smoke alarms and the TV remote controls. We noticed a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom that we reported to the host. The property is in dire need of new carpeting.

The jewel by the river needed a lot more attention. Lights didn't work. We purchased light bulbs. Beds were very uncomfortable. Door handles to the bathrooms on main floor both had to be fixed. The view out the front window was priceless. Carpet was pretty dirty. I know we were on vacation but the internet was awful. No Wi-Fi. Big rug in the main living room was all wrinkled up. Tripping hazard. We did try and fix it. It wrinkled right back up. That was the first time I rented a verbo. I will not do it again. Didn't feel comfortable.

The property is beautiful in its "park-like setting" The views off the freighters were amazing.Downfalls were the internet is very spotty and the kitchen could be much better equipped. (Newr pots and pans. Cutting board, mixing bowls). It was very nice though.

The view was amazing, loved watching the lake frieghters cruise by, the small beach was a highlight for the kids. Lots of room for eight of us to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves.

Beautiful home and wonderful river views. There were a few things I usually see in a VRBO including paper towels in the kitchen and coffee filters. No soap in the bathrooms. Had a nice time.

Beautiful property with amazing river and freighter views. Brought 4 kids ages 21-14 and they enjoyed it. Also had my wife and our parents. Host is friendly and punctual with communication. Highly recommend.

Perfectly suited our needs.

We booked this at the last minute as a central location to stay during my Mom’s funeral. There was plenty of room to work on picture boards and lots of seating for family to spend time together during this tough time. The carpeted areas could use a deep clean, but overall, everything was clean and in order. The location was great, right across the street from the river with unobstructed views. We enjoyed watching the freighters going by. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect in all respects

This place is exceptionally great ! It is separated from the river by a small street but has a small private “beach” of it’s own that is very well equipped. Kids had a blast in the water while adults lazed around on beach chairs and fire place after dark. The unit we stayed in was very clean, adequately supplied and very comfortable. Host Lesa was very quick to response and very accommodating. We had a baby with us and kitchen had everything we needed (but could use a blender). Will come back again!
