Situated on the harbour side and from your balcony you can watch the coming and goings of the small fishing boats and beyond the harbour there are stunning views of the Solway Firth and Scottish Hills. Within a few steps there is the children’s Shipwreck playground and next to that is the popular Maryport Aquarium. Across the road from Harbour Gates and beside the River Ellen is the Wave Centre which is host to a variety of entertainment and leisure activities as well as being home to the Maritime Museum.

Within easy walking distance you can be in Maryport centre which has undergone substantial investment to its infrastructure and includes a pedestrian footbridge over the harbour front.
