On the main floor, you’ll find a light-filled kitchen and dining area with a handcrafted island made from local oak. Step outside to a covered deck furnished with four classic log rocking chairs—an ideal place to sip your morning coffee as mist weaves through the mountains. A gas grill and outdoor fire pit invite evenings of grilling, storytelling, or marshmallow roasting beneath the stars. Upstairs, a cozy loft features twin bunk beds, ideal for children or extra guests. Both king-suite bedrooms include private en suite bathrooms, each with a clawfoot soaking tub and walk-in shower for a luxurious spa-like experience.

Although nestled in peaceful seclusion, Cubs Den is conveniently located just 12 minutes from the Appalachian Trail -Sam's Gap & 13 minutes from Mars Hill University and the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theater.
