Rosebay on the Square is a light-filled Edwardian apartment overlooking Dalby Square through grand bay windows. The open living, dining and kitchen space is airy and social, with simple, paired-back interiors and thoughtful design throughout. Two comfortable double bedrooms offer a calm retreat. Just minutes from the sea, a short walk into Margate, and with one of the townâs most exciting restaurants, Willyâs, right on your doorstep.
Rosebay on the Square is a bright, airy Victorian apartment thatâs perfect for friends or couples looking for a stylish coastal weekend. Step inside the large Victorian entrance door and go up one flight of stairs. Take a moment to slip off your shoes on the rack outside before entering the apartment. The first thing youâll notice is the space: huge bay windows overlooking Dalby Square, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light make the living area feel open and inviting.
The main room is a social hub, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area where you can cook together, enjoy a meal, or simply relax with a drink while soaking up the view of the square. The décor is simple and stylish, pared-back, letting the apartment feel fresh and easy-going without losing any charm.
There are two comfortable double bedrooms, both thoughtfully arranged with space to hang your clothes and unwind after a day exploring. The bathroom is sleek and modern, with a walk-in shower and instant hot water, keeping everything simple and fuss-free.
Outside, Dalby Square gives the flat a grand Victorian backdrop, while the sea is just a few minutesâ walk away. Youâre also a short stroll from Margateâs buzzing Old Town, full of antique shops, independent stores, cafĂ©s, bars & restaurants. It has a mix of period architecture, independent cafĂ©s, quirky shops, and colourful streets that are perfect for exploring on foot. With its proximity to the beach and Margateâs town centre, itâs a favourite spot for people looking for a quieter base thatâs still close to the action.
Margate itself is a lively seaside town with a mix of old-world charm and modern cool. The long sandy beaches and iconic Dreamland make it a classic British seaside destination, while the rejuvenated Old Town is packed with independent galleries, vintage shops, cafĂ©s, and restaurants. Margate has a strong arts and culture scene, including the Turner Contemporary gallery, and plenty of activities for all ages â from casual strolls along the promenade to seaside fun in the arcades and indoor crazy golf. Just across the Square from the apartment is an indoor ten pin bowling alley - fabulous fun on a wet day!
