Margate is an exciting seaside resort on England’s South East coast. If you're looking for something a little different, pop down to the largest tidal pool in the UK. Walpole Bay Tidal Pool is a Grade II-listed structure perfect for swimming on a beautiful sunny day or on a frosty morning for a refreshing quick dip. Getting Around:

Margate rail station is a short walk from Westbrook Road with regular routes to London, Canterbury and Ashford.



The nearby towns of Dover and Whitstable can be reached via car under 50 minutes so Kent can be explored easily. The popular city of Canterbury can be reached in 45 minutes and the beautiful town of Broadstairs is a short 10-minute drive away too!



If you’re looking to explore via bus during your stay, Margate is serviced by ‘The Loop’. This runs every day and connects Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.
