Our quaint 4 season home has all the amenities you need for a getaway by Lake Erie. Can potentially sleep 15. 1 spacious master suite with queen size bed and large master bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 upstairs bedrooms each with a queen sized bed, 1 upstairs bedroom with 6 single bunks great for the kiddos, upstairs bonus room with smart TV and futon that can sleep 1 more if necessary, 1 full bathroom upstairs with shower, 1 full bathroom downstairs off the main living space with jacuzzi tub and shower, spacious living and dining area with smart TV and game area, 1st floor sun porch with a private feel and queen size sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, alcove dining area off kitchen with a Seek-and-find" painted on the surrounding walls, spacious side porch, generous parking that will allow up to 4 cars.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The house was lovely and very clean! So many fun things to do inside the house, from games to the seek and find in the lemon room. The location was just perfect! There were many shops and restaurants close by to choose from. The Put-In-Bay ferry was also close. We highly recommended staying here!

The property was quite charming and spacious. Everything was well stocked (towels, bedding, kitchen, entertainment). Our group was older, so the stairs were a bit of an issue, but other than that everything was nice. Lots of extra touches, and had we had children with us they would have loved it as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time at the Hummingbird Inn!!! Everything was as we expected, clean, organized, very well thought out. The games and family-oriented fun provided were fantastic and enjoyed by all. Our group was puzzling and enjoying each other's company all week. Location was also wonderful and easily accessible to everything Marblehead has to offer. Thank You so much for providing a wonderful home and sharing it with us. It was HOT!!! 95 plus and the home was comfortable all week. The firepit was enjoyed by all and our family time was priceless. I would recommend this stay to anyone interested. PS. The bunk room was great. The seek and find room was a hoot as well.

Hands down best vacation home

Check in was super easy, we got there and were instantly impressed by the whole house. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed (even a first aid kit when I cut myself!) Every detail of the house was thought out and planned. We have not one complaint!

The Hummingbird Inn is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing family get away or even a long weekend with friends. It has a cozy cottage like (or going to grandmas house) feel. Lots of games to play and/or books to read. Very relaxing atmosphere! It’s close to the lighthouse and we loved going to the beach at East Harbor State Park which is amazing to just sit in and relax especially if you have little ones to watch! 10/10 recommend this home!

The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed the very clever "seek and find" painted on the walls in the dining area. The house was well supplied with games, kitchen items, towels... We were pleased with all that was provided. The location was great to visit Kelley's Island, Lakeside and the Marblehead lighthouse, just to name a few of the places we visited during the week. And I greatly appreciated how well the host communicated with me to answer questions before we arrived. We had a fun week in Lakeside!!

Beautiful House for Our Family Gathering

Tina’s house is amazing. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our 11 family members. The kids were entertained by the many games, puzzles, toys, and especially the seek and find walls in the Lemon Room. While not large, there was enough space in the yard for to play croquet (we brought ours) and toss a ball. The kitchen had pans of all sizes, plates and bowls appropriate for small children, and so many other useful household items. A short distance from the beach at East Harbor State Park, lighthouses, the ferry to Kelley’s Island, and Browns Dairy Dock. Our family of grandparents, parents, and children ages 3-9 had a great time and would come again if planning to be in the area.

Loved our Stay!

The house was so lovely and charming. All the little details were so much fun for our guests ranging in age from 2-84! The lemon room and seek and find was a real hit, the kids loved looking for all the items with grandparents. The first floor master was convenient for my grandparents who would struggle with stairs. The games, trivia books, puzzles made for some fun times! While we did go out to eat for most meals we made dinner and breakfast in the kitchen and had everything we needed to do so. We spend a lot of time in Lakeside, enjoyed twin oast, antique shops. The house was great to get back to for the baby to nap and movies at the end of a fun day. I would definitely rent again!

Fairytale House

Thus house is wonderful. The owners have been very creative with every feature. We plan to come back and stay longer next time. Our adult children loved all of the games and space in the home. Plenty of room for everyone.

Lovely well-restored older home

Clean trim environment. Of special note, the “wallpaper” is actually painted on by a skillful artist. Our family loved the challenge to look for 35 items hidden among the lemons and berries in the breakfast room. AC from 5 different window units kept place comfortable despite outside temps in 90s. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Adjacent Chautauqua village accessible by free 2 hour passes. Ferries to local islands within close driving distance. Especially liked Kelley Island.
