The Space:

WELCOME TO AHOY MATEY!



Enjoy this charming three-bedroom house! Our warm and cozy three-bedroom, two-bath beach house has a cabin-like feel and is perfect for your next escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just a five-minute walk to the beach and under ten minutes to downtown Manzanita, Ahoy Matey is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the beach.



Entering the home from the side porch, you step into the open floor plan with comfortable sofas arranged around a beautiful, built-in gas fireplace, a well-stocked kitchen, and a spacious dining area with seating for six. There is additional seating for three at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, utensils, and other small appliances you may need to enjoy a family meal.



The hallway has a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. There are three bedrooms, all located downstairs. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. Near the bedrooms are a full bathroom with a shower and tub combo.



Upstairs this home has a loft with a queen sized futon and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, providing even more space for your family to spread out. We have a TV with plenty of movies, a DVD player, and a Roku for streaming your favorites. Challenge the family to play one of the many fun games in the house when you're not out enjoying all Manzanita has to offer!



During warmer weather, head outside to the chairs provided to relax on the deck, with easy access to the front door, which allows Barbecuing to be a breeze. Enjoy this immaculate home for your Oregon Coast Vacation!

Ahoy Matey is located on a quiet residential street. You are far enough from town to experience peace, but still only a 5 minute walk to get coffee and shop. Also a very quick walk down the road to the beach!



Getting Around:

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.



Interaction with Guests:

We will interact as little or as much as the guest likes.

After booking, all our guests will get an after hours/emergency phone number to call if needed too.

Relaxing weekend getaway

This charming house was a great location to get out of town for the weekend and enjoy the splendor of Oregon's coast. Walking distance to the beach and downtown. We'd be happy to stay again.

Manzanita Beach Getaway Vacation Rentals never disappoints! This was our second stay at Ahoy Matey, and, as in all our previous years renting from Danielle & Co., our house provided the perfect backdrop for all our beach adventures! It was spacious enough for our family of 4 adults, yet cozy enough for cozying up together to watch movies, put together puzzles, and play games. The upstairs family room is a great option for those who want to watch TV or just have their own space for awhile. The deck is great for enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. A special perk at this house is the provision of buckets and beach toys for building sand castles. We're already looking forward to our next stay!

Cozy Comfort

We enjoyed our long weekend at Ahoy Matey! The overall vibe is a warm and cozy dog friendly home, surrounded by trees, yet only a few blocks from the beach. Knotty pine ceilings, comfortable couches, cozy gas fireplace, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, and dog sheets to keep the furniture covered and protected. Beach towels also provided. Kitchen cupboards are too high but a step stool was provided next to fridge. Loved that the tv was upstairs. Great room for watching movies while we worked on puzzles. Very nice to have a full bathroom upstairs. We enjoyed the deck one afternoon. The nice chairs and table were appreciated and we thought a few loungers would have felt good after a long beach walk. Be sure to check your email the morning after check in as you will receive information about a loyalty card offering discounts with local businesses. We did not ever see an actual loyalty card on the counter, and we had already shopped at three businesses prior to seeing the email. Lastly, the communication with Manzanita Beach Getaway was fantastic!
