No "Hot Tub" exists as advertised. Owner actually seemed surprised. Not sure if it was because it was advertised or that she didn't have one :) Ants are over the top out of control. Don't walk away from any food on the counter or you will be sharing it. Keep trash outside, helpful hint. Overall a pretty decent place to stay and would recommend it!!! Just me careful of the nails sticking up that hold down the rugs. That said, the neighbors squirrel hunting with my grandkids in the backyard was slightly unnerving.

The bed we slept in was so comfortable. The place inside is clean and cozy. We didn’t catch anything but turtles and a brim while fishing there. The water was really low. There was some cracking of the bricks on one bathroom floor and some rugs nailed down. The internet wasn’t great. We really enjoyed our stay. The grass was tall by the walkway down to the water. The view was beautiful. We had everything needed except dish soap and hand soap. There’s a dollar store not far at all. We fished under nearby bridge and caught some fish there. I would definately stay here again.

Overall we did enjoy our stay. We did have a significant problem with ants inside of the home and we reached out twice trying to get into the property and getting the internet working. The property manager never responded to us, we figured out the above items on our own. The property was very spacious, great air conditioning and beautiful view of the lake.

Great location... Excellent Name! (TLC)

Went into this rental with super high expectations. It has it all... Location, water front, boat dock, swimming, etc, etc... The listing needs to be updated since the boat dock had no power, which caused me to go and purchase 300' of extentiosn chords, instead of picking up my boat each night.. The Front and Back seating areas were extremely dirty, being covered in bugs, spiders, etc... After cleaning, the next morning we found the spiders to have re-established their nests/webs.. One bedroom has window unit for additional cooling, which was great, except that during the night, the bed under it wouild get wet from water leaking from the unit. Wifi was HORRIBLE.. do not expect to do much of any internet activity while here, as cell service, while really bad, was better than the wi-fi. The smart TV is basically useless without decent WiFi... The grass in the "private beach" area was knee high, and needed to be cut. Ceiling inside had mildew/stained areas from previous roof damage, along with some celotex hanging, (Also from previous storm damage that was very apparent was quite dated).... In Summary, it is a great little place in a REALLY GOOD location... just needs plenty TLC... as the name reflects......

Family get away

Upon check in there were some hiccups that were no fault of the owners but she was super quick to respond with solutions. My family had such an amazing time for a short Thanksgiving weekend getaway and we cannot wait to return!

Toledo Bend Fishing Reunion

The property is a great location, very nice yard going down to the lake and fire pit which we used nightly. The house was clean and easy for 5 guys to live in and be comfortable. The only negative was the weak WiFi signal and very weak cell phone coverage until you got back out on the main road. Some phones worked and some didn't so it's a carrier issues.

First time to Toledo Bend area

Let me first say the lady who owns the property is very nice, and this has to be one of her first time renting. I think I may have rushed renting this place, I should have looked more into it, my fault. You have to go down several dirt roads to get to and after raining my vehicle and boat where covered. The boat dock looked like no one has used in a long time. Was deep enough to dock boat though. I had to use my own Wi-Fi hotspot because her internet did not work and no cable. There was a bed not put together on front porch. Bedrooms were fine. I would not pay 500+ dollars again for the property.
