We really liked the condo itself. It was well-appointed and both bathrooms have been updated. Itâs clear the owners take good care of it. Unfortunately the rest of our experience at this complex was EXTREMELY disappointing. We've been staying in the Summit condos for over 15 years, renting through different management companies. So we know the complex very well. It used to be well maintained, but year after year, the upkeep of the buildings gets worse and less personal. This year hot tubs were lukewarm at best, and the outside steps were incredibly icy. They remained that way for four days, and we never saw anyone attempt clean them. Over the course of our stay, we saw multiple people slip on them. Because a storm closed most of the mountain for two days, we were interested in extending our stay. When we called the management company, Five Star Mammoth Lodging, to inquire, we actually got an answering service that promised to pass on our message. Eventually we got a text back and had to communicate with the management company that way. The most frustrating part of the stay was when we got back to the condo one evening and found someone had parked in our assigned spot. Once again we called the management company and asked them to help. Once again our message was passed on by an answering service, and once again we had to communicate via text. Then we were told that there was nothing Five Star management could do to help and that we had to solve the problem ourselves (
