Ideally situated just steps from the fourth tee at the Sierra Star Golf Course, this quiet condo at The Cabins promises all-season adventure and modern style. In this convenient Mammoth Lakes location, you'll be half a mile from Eagle Lodge and just over a mile from Mammoth Village.

As you come home from a day spent hiking, golfing, or skiing, you'll be greeted by a living room with leather furnishings, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a dining space with seats for six. You can access the property's shared hot tub and firepit from the semi-private patio, or simply indulge in an afternoon nap in one of the two bedrooms - each of which has an attached bathroom.

Other units in complex used as hotel for construction workers

I have stayed in this unit at the “The Cabins” on Lodestar Drive for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend these units. It appears other units are used to house non local construction workers who arrive late at night, and leave at 5:00 am One night a construction worker accidentally pulled the fire alarm, and then left, placing the key under the mat. The worker could not differentiate between the lock box and the fire alarm box. I was left to work with the fire department, property manager and Vbro. This during a fire alarm sounding in the unit, requiring 2 hours to turn off. The master key for the fire alarm box was missing. Although I was staying for 2 weeks, Vbro would not compensate me for 1 of the nights due to the fire alarm incident, as I requested. I would not recommend this or other units in this “The cabins”.

Trees and Access

We love this property because you have a view of trees from the living room and dining room. It’s also good access to Eagle Lodge. We walked the neighborhood a lot and enjoy the peaceful mountain air. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Great Location

The place was perfect for our visit. Underground parking was great since the area received lots of snow during our visit. We were very close to Eagle Lodge and downtown. Access to everything was very easy.

Ski get away

The pictures on the website are exactly what you get. It’s clean and well taken care of. The location is perfect. It’s a 5 to 7min walk to the Eagle Lodge. It was nice to have a fireplace after a day on the slopes. Another convenient amenity was the underground parking. Overall this place is great. Highly recommended

Tucked away but close to Eagle and the Village

Very nice property overlooking the golf course. Quiet and peaceful. Comfy beds, oversized tub and underground garage parking made for a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

Close to Eagle and a crazy amount of snow

Overall we enjoyed the stay and have a 5 due to challenging circumstances facing the town of Mammoth. Upon arrival, the toilet in the Master was broken along with a broken handle on the sliding glass door. Last the windows in both bedrooms didn’t fully close, it was drafty and at night smoke from the neighbors fireplace would creep in. But, eventually everything was fixed the last day of our stay and honestly, given the kind of year Mammoth is having, these issues were minor. Record breaking snow along with a post-pandemic labor market makes it a challenge to keep up maintenance. Thank the lord we didn’t have power outages or a gas leak. The condo was very clean, great kitchen, we had soap and sponges. Comfortable beds and the Roku and Wi-Fi were awesome. Hats off to the locals for dealing with endless snow, power outages, gas leaks, collapsing roofs, and demanding visitors. We would definitely come back to this condo and thank the owners for allowing us to stay.

Really great cabin. It was beautiful inside and very spacious. Even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Nice view. It had almost all the amenities we needed. It could use some Tupperware, spices, and maybe Sara wrap or foil but other than that it was very well appointed. Plenty of pots and pans. Loved that it had a bumper to keep my kids in the bed instead of rolling off. The garage was very nice to have and easy to use. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative is the hot tub was unusable. It was scalding hot ( I couldn’t even submerge my hand it was so hot) and dirty. But I’d still stay here again despite this

Beautiful condo

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The property was immaculate and seemed recently updated. The heated garage is a nice bonus for the ski gear and the location relatively close to Eagle lodge. The only negative was the noise from hardwood floors of the upstairs neighbors. They may need to add some condiments too. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place in an excellent location

We stayed here for a week with a couple of friends and had a fantastic time. Everything here is updated and clean. Great place to work and ski. Plus the automatic leather recliners were awesome to sink into after a day in the slopes!
