Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Price
We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this VRBO property. Right from the start, the house felt very dark and uninviting. Many of the light bulbs were either missing or burnt out, making it difficult to navigate the space comfortably, especially in the evenings. The overall ambiance was not what we were expecting at all, especially when the listing made it seem much more well-kept. It smelled horrible of wet dog.One of the most frustrating issues was that the house is advertised as accommodating 9 people, but it barely provided enough supplies for even 5. For example, there were not enough K-cups for coffee—just a handful for two days, which is completely unacceptable for a house that’s supposed to accommodate so many guests. Additionally, there was no shampoo or soap in the showers, which made it feel like the owners were cutting corners. This is a basic amenity that should have been provided, particularly for the price we paid.We also found that the house came with a limited supply of garbage bags, which was inconvenient given that we had to dispose of trash frequently. As for the dishwasher, it was in terrible condition—didn't clean well, and we ended up having to wash things by hand because the machine was so unreliable.Overall, the house is in desperate need of an upgrade and a thorough cleaning.
