The Space:

White Jacaranda Tiny House by Tiny Away sits in the rural town of Maleny, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland. Nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, and Sunshine Coast beaches such as Kings Beach, Mooloolaba Beach, and Shelly Beach.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home nestled among rolling green hills, surrounded by 80-year-old gum trees that create spectacular sunrise and sunset silhouettes, with dazzling night skies for you to enjoy.



This compact space features fresh bed sheets and the option to enjoy breakfast in bed or on the deck. In the evening, unwind by the pre-set fire pit, making your holiday homes experience truly unforgettable.



It is equipped with air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home via a lockbox upon arrival and are welcome to explore the 5-acre fenced property. Please watch your step on steep slopes, and the farm dam is not for swimming.



Restricted access: the main house and down the driveway to the house.

Wander through the Obi Obi Town Walk, grab a bite along Maple Street, or immerse yourself in nature at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardners Falls, and Buderim Falls.



For the explorers at heart, scenic drives like Maleny–Kenilworth Road and the iconic Maleny–Montville–Mapleton Balmoral Drive offer breathtaking day trips. And when the coast calls, you’re just 45 minutes away from Kings Beach, Mooloolaba, and Shelly Beach.



Getting Around:

By car:



- 1.45 hr drive from the center of Brisbane

- 45 mins drive from Sunshine Coast beaches.

- 7 mins drive (7.91km) to Maleny township with many local attractions along the way.



All are accessible via 2WD or 4WD - located in a grass paddock.



By public transport:



- Brisbane is the nearest capital city to Maleny.

- The nearest bus and train station is a 20-minute drive away in Landsborough, with a direct route from Brisbane to Caboolture, with connecting bus services to Maleny.

- Taxi is available in Maleny

- Restaurants may offer a courtesy bus service; please book in advance.

- Wi-Fi is not available

- Telstra offers the best signal

- Self-catering accommodation

- We have a variety of tea available

- No smoking allowed inside or outdoors

- No cattle will be on the block while you are visiting

- Private beehives and chicken pens are located on-site

- 1L of Drinking Water will be provided in the fridge for free

- We have a Nespresso coffee machine with a few selections of pods

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays will incur an additional charge

- Remember to bring a coat/jumper as the weather can be quite cold or wet quickly

- For extra guests, please get in touch with your host 24 hours in advance. Campervans or caravans with their own bathroom facilities are welcome; power can be supplied at an additional cost.



Guest Advisory



- We have a limited water supply. Please use sparingly

- A guest information folder is provided upon arrival

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed in the Tiny House (unless organized)

- Please follow the toilet instructions provided

- The towels provided are only to be used for the bathroom

- Rubbish bins are located at the property gate for guests who wish to dispose of waste responsibly.



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
