Our cozy cabin offers the best of both worlds- a rushing stream out front and mountain views from the back. Pet & motorcycle friendly, our 2BD/2.5BA cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Cherokee, Asheville, Waynesville, & Lake Junaluska.

Elk View earns its name- watch elk wandering from our porches & enjoy paved, flat roads which provide easy year-round access to the cabin anytime of the year!

Location, location, location! Elk View is a 2BD/2.5BA cabin where you can enjoy watching either the sunrise/sunset or elk wandering through from the grand front/back porches. The primary bedroom is on the main level, along with a full & half bath. The fireplace in the living room is electric. The cabin is perfect for relaxing & making special memories with family and friends. Cabin has a king, queen, and sleeper sofa (queen).

When you arrive at this modern log cabin, you will notice a large, flat concrete driveway that holds four large vehicles comfortably. Once inside, you will enjoy a clean, warm, well-decorated 2BD/2.5BA cabin with all basic amenities. You will need to bring everything you personally require to have an amazing Mountain Cabin experience with you.

Opportunity to bask on the front/back porches, which include rockers, a fire table, grill, porch swing, and chairs. Enjoy the breathtaking short-range mountain views off the porch, including Ghost Town visibility, with a hot cup of coffee or tea. The house is located in a community where elk roam freely; it is very peaceful and relaxing.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with access to the back porch. The upstairs bedroom has a queen. Each bedroom is equipped with SmartTVs in which you can access streaming channels. The living room has a 43" TV.

The fully-functional kitchen has an island, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and refrigerator.

Propane Grill (each guest who uses it is required to clean it after use)

This is a non-smoking home. We do allow smoking on the front/back porches and outside. Please do not throw butts in the trash can or in the yard/driveway.

$125 Cleaning Fee (includes extensive cleaning and turnover before every guest) INCLUDED IN TOTAL PRICE
$100 Pet Fee - up to 30lb
11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes.
• Please note: Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a $100 fine.

This property is not suitable for guests with mobility challenges. The home includes multiple stairs, uneven surfaces, and narrow doorways that may make accessibility difficult for those using wheelchairs or walkers.

This cabin is enhanced with CDC cleaning measures that are implemented. The property is cleaned with disinfectant, and contactless check-in and out.

As with any trip, unexpected situations can happen, including changes in weather or illness. While travel insurance isn’t required, we do encourage it for peace of mind, as this property’s cancellation policy is firm and non-negotiable.
