Welcome to Bella Vista Private Resort in Costa Rica, the perfect place for pickleball and yoga retreats, family vacations, weddings, and other events. What our guests love most about staying at Bella Vista is the beauty of the grounds, the magnificent views, the infinity pool, the quality of the beds, but most importantly, they love our attentive caretakers. Our property has 4 houses that can be rented together or separately. - The main house sleeps 14 - The guest house sleeps 8 and has a private volcano pool - The tiny house sleeps 2 - The tree house sleeps 4 and has a private jacuzzi.

The price that is quoted on VRBO for the dates you have selected reflects the cost for the main house only. When booking for groups over 14 people we will reach out to you after your initial booking to help you reserve guest house, tree house or the tiny house. The guest house can be added for $250 per night plus a $90 cleaning fee. The tree house with a private jacuzzi can be added for $200 a night plus $50 cleaning fee. You can also request to add the tiny house to your booking for an additional $125 per night plus a $35 cleaning fee. We will reach out to you about adding those additional amenities.

Bella Vista Private Resort is more than just a vacation rental and offers more than a hotel. It provides our guests with what Costa Rican luxury really feels like with the very best service provided by our staff.

THE PROPERTY

Our Costa Rican Mountaintop Resort features a main house with 5 gorgeous, resort-style bedrooms, 3.5 baths, fully-stocked kitchen, an infinity pool, outdoor eating area and BBQ, extensive grounds surrounded by a private gated entrance and a dedicated work space with the highest speed internet that Costa Rica has to offer.

GUESTHOUSE ADDITION

The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guesthouse on the property that sleeps 8 people can also available to you for additional guests for your group. If you would like to add the guest house, simply select 15 guests and we will coordinate adding the guesthouse for you.

TINY HOUSE ADDITION

The tiny house which we call the honeymoon suite and sleeps 2 people can also be added to the booking by selecting 16 people to your reservation and we will coordinate adding the tiny house for you.

TREE HOUSE ADDITION.

You can add the newly built tree house with your own personal private jacuzzi and amazing views that sleeps 4. It has a king size bed, and a pullout full size couch. Reach out to us and we will coordinate adding this for you.

EVENTS

We have had numerous weddings, family reunions, anniversary celebrations, yoga and corporate retreats held at Bella Vista Private Resort because of the size of the property and the beauty of the grounds. We are happy to work with you to make your event absolutely amazing and beautiful.

OUR STAFF AND RESORT MANAGER

Our Resort Manager, Patricia, is well connected in the area and she will take great care of you and everything you need to help you coordinate your activities, excursions, and events. She can also spoil you with authentic Costa Rican food daily at your request.

There is a lot to take care of on 2-and-a-half acres so we have a grounds keeper to help take care of the grounds throughout the year. He often picks fresh fruit or coconuts for our guests during their stay.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

If you are interested in airport transportation and using our vehicles, we can arrange airport pickup and drop off for you. You will want to fly into the San Jose International Airport (SJO) which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bella Vista Private Resort.

VEHICLE RENTALS

We have a 12-passenger van and a 7-passenger SUV Mitsubishi Outlander that can be added to your stay.

OTHER PRIVATE RESORTS

We also have 2 other large PRIVATE RESORTS in Costa Rica: The Majestic Lodge Private Resort in the rain forest just outside of La Fortuna, and Johnny's Beach Bungalow Private Resort right off of Playa Avellanas Beach just South of Tamarindo. Many of our guests that come to explore Costa Rica will often coordinate with us to stay at two or all three of our private resorts in order to experience the Beauty of the Mountains, the Adventure of the Rainforest, and the Fun on the Beaches of Costa Rica.

CHARGES FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION - The San Jose (SJO) airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bella Vista Private Resort. Airport pick up from the San Jose airport is $125 and drop off is an additional $125 per trip for up to 8 people. It is $400 groups from 9 - 14 people and $600 for groups up to 24 people. If you’re arriving in a large group, don’t feel like you need to coordinate your arrival. It is easier to coordinate multiple pick ups and drop offs than to coordinate with a second vehicle and a second driver. Airport pickup from the Liberia Airport (LIR) is about 3 hours away and is an additional $125 for pick up and drop off.

VEHICLE RENTAL FEES - the van rental fee is $150 per day and the Mitsubishi, Outlander is $100 a day (the insurance is included in that price). That is the price when renting out either vehicle during your whole stay. If you would like to just rent the vehicle during some of the days of your vacation but not the whole time then the cost is $200 for the van and $150 for the Mitsubishi per day used. When renting a vehicle from us, the rental period will start on the second day of your stay and will end the day before you leave.

EVENTS - weddings or events for guests staying at the property for 24 or fewer people is $400. Events for groups between 25 and 50 people is $700. And events for groups between 51 and 80 people are $1100. When hosting events the whole property will be reserved for only your group.

GUESTHOUSE ADD-ON - the cost for the guesthouse is $250 a night plus an $90 cleaning fee.

TINY HOUSE ADD-ON - the cost to add the tiny house is $125 a night plus a $35 cleaning fee.

TREE HOUSE ADD-ON - the cost to add the tree house is $200 a night plus a $50 cleaning fee. It has a private jacuzzi.

MEALS - the meals during your stay usually range between $12 and $16 per person depending on the meal. Payments for meals can be paid for in cash directly to the resort manager at the end of your trip who will provide you with a meal cost breakdown of the meals provided.

Payment for all other services and add-ons can be coordinated and taken care of before arrival and after the initial booking.

You will be given the access code to the large entry gate before arrival. You can then access the house with a separate smart code. There is plenty of free parking on the premises.

Our caretakers, Patricia and Felix, live on the property in their own private home. They are available to answer questions, offer assistance, and can even pick you up from the airport! Patricia is an amazing cook and would love to offer you breakfast and/or lunch each day of your stay! Just let us know!

The main house can sleep up to 14 people. If you would like to book the additional guest house which sleeps up to 8 additional people, then select 15 guests. If you would also like to book the tiny house as well then select 16 guests. If you would like to book the treehouse with private Jacuzzi, let us know and we will coordinate that for you. We will work with you to coordinate the booking of the other spaces after your initial booking for the main house.

ADDITIONALLY, we can accommodate events such as retreats, weddings, baby showers, and other events that respect the property. There is an additional cost for hosting events at the property. We have tables and chairs to host up to 80 people and we have resources to wedding planners, wedding officiators, and photographers. Such events and pricing will be coordinated with the hosts. Let us know what type of event and the number of people and what you would like to include and we will send you the costs to add on those events.

So rather than asking for a refund, if there is something wrong with your accommodations, let us know right away and we will do our very best to fix any problems. Some problems that may be related to the weather may not be fixable during your stay. We will do our best to address them and help your stay be as enjoyable as possible.**
