From here, hop on the historic Cliff Railway to the clifftop village of Lynton (also 1 mile), or follow the trail to Watersmeet, 2 miles away, where riverside walks and waterfalls await. The striking rock formations at the Valley of the Rocks are 2 miles from the lodge and offer panoramic views and frequent sightings of wild goats. For something different, explore the National Trustâs Arlington Court and Carriage Museum (11 miles), or head inland to the moorland village of Simonsbath (9.5 miles).
