Our Cozy, Quiet, Comfortable place in the Country - 2 Bedroom 900 sq ft w/view

SAFETY INFORMATION: We are a rural rental & there are beehives on the property, over 200 yards from the unit. We have not had bees near the apartment or house, but it is always a possibility that they could approach. If you or anyone in your party is allergic to bees, we recommend that you chose an alternate location to stay. Now back to the fun stuff!

We are located 5 miles north of Lockhart, the BBQ Capital of Texas, 25 miles south of Austin the Live Music Capital of the World and 19 miles from the Circuit of the Ameriacas. There are only 8 houses that can be seen from the apartment, some of them are miles away so you won't feel crowded. The views to the east are up to 15 miles. Things are quiet here with many folks commenting on how noise & stress free it is. There are pastures with horses & cattle around us, something you don't see at most vacation rentals. Being out of town this is also a great place for stargazing. There is a large deck on the East side of the apartment with picnic table & 8 chairs. Charcoal BBQ pit is downstairs.

In these times of the "New Normal" we have stepped up our cleaning & disinfecting procedures as well as keeping the apartment empty for at least 24 hours & generally 48 hours between bookings to do our best for you to have a safe stay.

We completed a total renovation of our apartment in early 2020. Everything inside was replaced.

The apartment is a second floor walk-up with all the amenities you might expect from a vacation rental. Vinyl plank flooring throughout with area rugs in the living area and bedrooms as well as blackout curtains on the bedroom windows. There are ceiling fans in the living room & both bedrooms.

There is ample parking for multiple vehicles, including RVs and trailers & a circular driveway for convenience.

We are located about 7 miles from the Lockhart State Park which has hiking, golf, fishing & lots of nature.

San Marcos Premium Outlet Mall is 29 miles.
