We have designed and built this 4400 sq ft home as a vacation rental for you and your family/group.

Make Blue Waters Edge your family vacation spot! We have everything to keep your group comfortable, happy and entertained.
The house includes many features only available on a purpose built vacation rental.

HEATED POOL:
Pool heating at no extra cost. We now have 2 pool heaters! Your family can enjoy an 85 degree swim, mid May through October 31st .

Swimming in 85 degree salt water on our high bluff edge, over looking lake Michigan in September, is just awesome! We can adjust the water temperature, warmer or cooler, on request at no charge.

Also featuring a heated outdoor shower

just added pool side gas fire table, just add you and your favorite beverage may- Oct. 31st

HOT TUB:
Our ultra clean hot springs hot tub goes up to 104 degrees. The hot tub features 2 built in back message seats and a top of the line filtration system. Don't forget to dip in at night for some star gazing and watching the freighters come in-and-out of Ludington port. The freighters look like Cruise ships at night.

HOT WATER HEATERS:
2 instant hot water heaters. So you can run 4 showers at the same time and never run out of hot water.

LAUNDRY:
2 laundry rooms. One main level. One pool level.

KITCHEN:
2 fully-equipped kitchens One on main level. One on pool level. That gives you a lot of refrigerator space for the important stuff.

BACK UP GENARATORS:
2 whole house generators just installed. If the power goes out they turn on automatically. No ruined vacations from power outages here.

CAR CHARGER:
EV car charger in the garage. To keep your car batteries full.

VIEWS:
Pool and lake views from 4 of the 6 bed rooms.
Large covered porch, lake side, with comfy furniture so you can enjoy the view and watch the kids jump in the pool. Or lots of open deck and pool side patio if you prefer the sun.

Blue Waters Edge sits on a high bluff giving you amazing views! Look down ( yes look down) from the deck at sea gulls and the occasional soaring bald eagle. The bald eagles nest is just 2 houses south of Blue Water Edge.

BEACH:
107' of private Lake Michigan beach frontage. Take the trek down to the beach and relax in one of the 6 chase loungers, or use the the two supplied kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards to explore the lake shore.
1 1/2 miles of beach to walk. Be sure to take some time to search the sandy beach for Petoskey stones, we have found some!

There are about 100 steps and some trails to Blue Waters Edges private beach. Its a 10 min hike back up, alternatively the salt water pool has all warm water you will need!

If a drive up beach is more your style you have 3 to pick from :
you can see them on Google or trip advisor
1. Butters Ville Park ( down the street) close small beach
2. Stearns park located downtown Ludington ( 15 min away) large beach handicap accessible walk ways.
Pair this with lunch or ice cream .
3. Ludington state park beach ( its the big one 5300 acres of scenic sand dunes , beaches and the big Sable point light house)

LOCATION:
Conveniently located between Pentwater and Ludington 15 minutes from each. Enjoy the best of both.

Mason county picnic area across the street. Play the disc golf course or hike up to the top of the lookout tower .

WIFI:
We have WIFI 2 internet connections . Frontier is approx. 9Mbs. It is adequate to stream tv and movies, but not fast. Plus
ITS HERE ! We now have starlink satellite internet new 2022 60Mbs.

Perfect LDW with extended family. This house is amazing. Super clean, so well appointed with everything from kitchen supplies to beach toys and all in between. Every amenity you could think of! Tons of games inside and out to keep everyone entertained. The pool and hot tub were a highlight. Highly recommend this home! It was a perfect stay and we will be back!

We gathered as a family of grandparents, parents and grandchildren (17 people ranging in age from 11 -82). The house and property offered something for everyone with a variety of interests and abilities. Small steps onto the porch and the ramp down to the pool helped with accessibility. We played video games, rode the stationary bikes while watching movies, enjoyed the pool (set to 90 degrees by request) and hot tub, played disc golf at the course across the street, and soaked in the views from the porch and the beach. The poolside shower was amazing. The hosts were responsive to every request, including delivering supplies to our door when they ran out mid-week. The large kitchen space on the main floor made it easy to prepare meals for a crowd (we didn't even need to use the basement kitchen) and everyone had tons of space to get ready for the day with all the bathrooms throughout the house. Most of all, we had a luxurious, relaxing, fun-filled, joyous time together in a beautiful, quiet home. 10/10 would recommend!

This house and rental experience is one of the best that myself and my group have ever had. The house is absolutely immaculate, no detail is forgotten, perfect for kids and families (baby gates, alarms, toys, high chairs, etc). The view is out of this world, the beach is stunning, the pool is PERFECT! Shawn and Naomi are incredibly responsive and helped us so quickly with every question and request during our stay — they are amazing. Cannot wait to make this an annual trip. The only thing to consider is the bugs and bees. You just have to be very careful by the pool and know that a few stings might happen. The fruit flies were maintained and Shawn and Naomi helped us there too.

It was set up and stocked like no other! This lake house was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with drinks, which was such a nice surprise after a long drive. The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking—mornings with coffee overlooking the water were a daily highlight. The house itself is beautifully maintained, super clean, and packed with every amenity you could want: two fully loaded kitchens, including kids plates and cups, comfy beds, fast WiFi, a hot tub, a stroller, an air mattress, a grill, and even a cozy fire pit for outdoor s’more’s.We also loved how well-equipped the house was for lake fun—beach towels, chairs, paddleboards, kayaks, and even sand toys for the kids were all provided. Having everything we needed right there made our stay stress-free and relaxing.Truly one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Can’t wait to come back!

Fall Break Getaway

We looked at several homes during our October Break and so happy we chose this one. The heated pool was amazing in October. Lewis Farms was a huge hit with the kids. Ludington State park hikes to see all the amazing changing colors. This house was perfect for the 4 families - plenty of space, fully stocked and just so comfortable all around! Shawn and Naomi were wonderful answering all my questions (and I had a ton) :) Nothing we would have changed at all. Even in October the beach was perfect - we setup games down there and had a great time. (hike down to the beach - so we limited what we took down there) - but the views from the house, pictures of the sunset were unbelievable. What a wonderful time to travel to Ludington Michigan and a perfect house to host us all!

Expectations set and met!

We used all seven bedrooms and both kitchens. Our private chef loved the main kitchen setup as well. Hot tub and salt water pool were just great. Parking space for all cars was really nice. I passed along a few suggestions to the owner that were happily received. This is a property worth returning to if the need arises.

Unbelievable house!!!

This house beyond exceeded our expectations!! The view of Lake Michigan, sunsets, private beach, amazing heated pool made this the best vacation we have ever had! This was our family’s second stay here and it was so wonderful. Shawn and Naomi have thought of everything to keep at the house which makes traveling here each year so easy and convenient. Awesome family vacation!

What a fantastic week in Ludington! The house is everything we hoped it would be -- and more. Perfect for larger family gatherings (we had 10 adults and 5 kids for the week). Plenty of room, tons to do, the heated saltwater pool was an excellent change of pace from the beach. Absolutely recommend this property. Shawn and Naomi (and Ashley) are great hosts!

Exceptional in Every Way / Family Reunion to Remember

Our family group (we also had sister property-same hosts/owners, see Suites A/ Ludington review) of all ages was so comfortable, entertained and delighted by this beautiful home. We are not strangers to higher-end rentals, but this was the first time we were greeted by stocked paper products, laundry supplies, and even a stocked beverage fridge... and all the little extras that make vacation start the minute you unpack. As welcome as that was, the magnificent views out the back of the home toward the medium dune and beach/big lake were to-die-for! Even on the single overcast day! The young ones loved the pool toys, and many of us enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks on the beach (do NOT fear the 101 beach steps....I'm 66 yrs old and had no issues). The sand was so soft and the water crystal clear and shallow for yards and yards. The provided beach towels were so useful for the families flying in for the week, as it helped limit their need to pack some from home. The pool and hottub were in perfect working order and spotless. Cooking large meals for our group was so easy given the quality of appliances and smart kitchen layout. The owners responded very promptly and courteously to our occasional inquiries. And the 220V line in the garage to charge EV's was so handy. We CANNOT WAIT to visit again!

Daniels Family 3rd Annual Family Vacation Getaway

Awesome setting, awesome house, awesome hosts, exceeded expectations. Perfect fit for our family group of 8 adults and 10 children ranging in age from 3-15. Secluded but close enough to Ludington main drag and Wal-Mart and Meijer, etc. for shopping needs. We enjoyed the view, the playthings, the heated pool, and kayaking and paddleboarding from the beach below. We also enjoyed the things to do around the house around our stay. We started our stay with a drive up from the Chicago area to Manitowoc, WI where we took the historic SS Badger car ferry across Lake Michigan to Ludington and a short drive to the house. While staying at the house, we visited the Ludington Breakwater Lighthouse, the Big and Little Sable Lighthouses, and the Ludington pumped hydroelectric power plant. On our drive back to the Chicago area around the lake, we visited the Big Red Lighthouse in Holland, Michigan. Great vacation experience! Would recommend to others.

Bachelorette Weekend Trip

Our stay was amazing at this property. We had a girls bachelorette party with 16 people. We had enough space to hang throughout the day and the room and beds were very comfortable! The pool and hot tub were perfectly heated & the view to the beach made for some great pictures!!! Getting to and from the beach was a little hard & we didn’t let our pregnant friends go down there, but if you take your time it’s worth it! The sand is so soft ! We would definitely stay here again & maybe even bring kids this time - the house was well equipped for families with little ones!

Absolutely stunning!! The house was gorgeous and the hosts are just great. The kids had so much fun at the pool and the beach was so beautiful and peaceful. The house had everything we could ask for and more. It’s a short drive to downtown Ludington from the house, which is a really neat beach town. Loved everything about this trip and would go back in a heart beat!

FANTASTIC FAMILY VACATION SPOT

We LOVED our stay at Blue Waters Edge. For years, we had wanted to rent a house on Lake Michigan...this was the perfect house for our family. Shawn and Naomi, our hosts, were wonderful in providing so many amenities at the home...like fully stocked kitchens (including sippy cups and other children's dishes), games, pool toys, beach toys, life jackets in all sizes and toys in the house for our grandchildren (we have 11). The pool was warm, the view was just beautiful, and the beach lovely and quite private. As others have said, it is a bit of a hike down the hill and back up. But once down there, it is so nice! We used Gloria Ann's Catering which was wonderful! We contacted her before our trip and set up our menu. She delivered our supper each night at 5:30. It was so nice for all the moms to have a break from meal prep...and we had lots of leftovers for lunch the next day. The one thing we would suggest is bringing water shoes to wear around the pool area where there are bees who like the salt water on the deck around the pool. We would highly recommend this home for your family--the hosts have thought of everything. The Miller Family Angola, Indiana
