Live like a local in this comfortable 2nd floor, 4-bedroom apartment with bedrooms that offers a unique sleeping arrangement for your family with a king bed, queen bed, full beds, and twin beds. Enjoy the cool of AC or fans in rooms. Also included is WiFi, and a Smart TV in the primary bedroom. There is access to a laundry room and free laundry detergent during your stay. Experience the charm of the Jamaican countryside and two small beaches that some community residents enjoy at dawn. They are within an 10-minute walk from the apartment.
Montego Bay Airport in St. James Parish is within a 40-minute drive from the highway after passing through the town of Lucea. Negril is within a 30-minute drive in the opposite direction. Attractions like horse riding, swim with the dolphins, ATV, bamboo raft rides, catamaran cruising, and more are all accessible within an hourâs drive. You can also sample hotel amenities and diversify the fun by inquiring about food and drink-inclusive day or night passes. The new Princess Grand Hotel and Grand Palladium are about 20 minutes away.
Please note the following limitations in amenities to inform your decisions. Not all areas have an AC unit. Currently, there is no solar power. There are occasional power outages in the area, often without previous warning, which will affect connected services; you will find re-chargeable lights/bulbs inside the apartment.
The laundry room is on the first floor next to the garage and is accessible by the back patio stairs. There are internal stairs in the living room leading to the roof. For your safety that roof area is off-limits and the door is locked.
There is an ornamental fireplace, please do not light any fires there. While your apartment is private, you may share the driveway or laundry area with other visitors so please be considerate of others.
Tropical islands will have insects, lizards, and other critters. Keep screen doors closed, windows without screens closed, and living areas generally clean to reduce pests. Please also close windows and doors to increase the efficiency of the existing AC units.
If you require assistance in hiring service staff for all or a part of your stay please reach out and we will be happy to help make recommendations or acquire staff on your behalf - added fees apply. If you are traveling with your own caregiver or housekeeper, inquire about the availability of a studio apartment on the same floor if you need extra space.
