Borgo Bucatra Buonvento

This beautiful stone house, Borgo Bucatra Buonvento, is located in the tiny medieval hamlet of Chiatri. You have breathtaking views, from the house, onto the coast of the Versilia and the lake of Massaciuccoli.
The house was restored with great care and disposes of a wonderful veranda (of about 60 sqm) which is equipped with an iron table, chairs, couches and upholstered chairs made of wicker and barbeque.
There is a garden of about 500 sqm at the exclusive use of the guests, which is set in terraces. There is also a children’s playground and a swimming pool, half set in earth (diameter: 7.47m, depth: 1.33m) with deckchairs, chairs and sun-umbrellas. The washing machine is located in an external room, parking next to the house. Internet access is included.
Air conditioned only in the attic floor.

Chiatri used to be the summer residency of the famous opera writer Giacomo Puccini and is therefore well known. The hills in the surroundings, which divide the city of Lucca from the sea, invite to have relaxing strolls.
Entrance on the ground floor within a few steps into a spacious kitchen, which is top modern and very nice, stove with 5 rings in the middle, 2 electric ovens, fridge/freezer, italian moka and American coffee machine, dishwasher, nice dining room with round table, ante room to a bathroom with antique stone basin, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet.
1st floor: spacious living room with couch, upholstered chairs, big fire-place, SAT-TV, 1 twin bedroom. Stairs to the 2nd floor: lovely and characteristic stone terrace of about 8 sqm, with a couch and chair and stunning views, 1 spacious bathroom with shower, basin, wc, bidet, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom. Steep wooden staircase to the attic with 1 double bedroom. From almost all windows you may enjoy breathtaking views onto the lake of Massaciuccoli and the coast of the Versilia.
The house is tastefully furnished, in country style with some antique pieces of furniture; much attention was paid to accessories, beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, the walls are painted in pastel colors.

In all seasons, the house can be rented for 6 people at a special price by closing the attic (meaning that 1 double bedroom won’t be available).

Check-in takes place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. You can arrive at 4 p.m. at the earliest, leave your luggage and spend time in the garden/swimming pool – there is a changing room and toilet there.

All additional costs, as well as the security deposit, are to be paid on the spot, IN CASH.
The quantifiable additional costs must be paid together with the security deposit, IN CASH, at CHECK-IN.
The extra charges, which are calculated according to consumption, are to be paid at the end of the stay.
