The apartment âLa Colonnaâ is located on the ground floor of a historical palazzo in the centre of Lucca and is an ideal base to visit this wonderful city. Thanks to its many amenities, this apartment is perfect for families with children: washing machine, dishwasher, wi-fi.
What to see in Lucca:
The small historical centre, surrounded by its beautiful walls, has a special charm which you will hardly find elsewhere.
Lucca is a beautiful art city, rich of beautiful churches, palazzi, squares and stunning sights. Piazza San Michele, Piazza dellâAnfiteatro, San Martino Cathedral, Guinigi Tower and the shopping lane Via Fillungo are definitely a visit worth. You can also discover old workshops, trattorias and excellent restaurants in its picturesque lanes.
Many events take place in Lucca all year around and make it a perfect choice for your holidays: the Comics exhibition, the operas, classical concerts, the Summer Festival, the arts and craft market, the market of antiques which takes place every 3rd weekend of a month and much more.
By renting a house in the city centre, you wonât need a car to move around and the nearby art cities like Florence, Pisa, Siena and the beach are easily reachable by public transport.

From the living room you can access a second bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet, basin. From the living room you can also access, within a few steps, the laundry room with washing machine.
The apartment is furnished with great care in country style with antique furnishings, very high wooden beams ceilings and terracotta floorings, which are typical Tuscan style.
