This home is very nice. It was one of the cleanest we have rented. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels and linens for all of us. This home has a lot of interesting history and a lot of charm. We highly recommend it.

Booked this place for a bachelor party, and I have to say: it was awesome! Most of the bedrooms have a bath, and the space in general was breathtaking. We had some minor hiccups with the property that were promptly taken care of by the very communicative hosts. All in all, 100% reccomend this gem.

Check in was simple. Kitchen had all the items needed to cook, (with the exception of aluminum foil. We brought some). We ran into a few issues, but the owners responded in a timely manner, and things were fixed promply upon them hearing about said issues.The location was great with some resturants within walking distance. (Agavi and Rye about 4 blocks away) Checkout was simple enough. Take out trash, leave beds unmade we slept in, start the dishwasher, and leave towels by the dryer. The only thing i would recommend is for the owner to leave a dishwasher pod for each night a guest is staying. Luckily, we ate out the last night, so all is well. Overall the experience was great and we would stay there again.

This house was perfect for our extended family group of 15 people. Everyone was thrilled with the house as it gave us the opportunity to be together in one place, share meals, and spend time with each other. I'd highly recommend it for any large group looking for a place to stay near Louisville.

Great chill guys weekend

Stayed at this historic property with eight friends for a guys weekend. Accommodations were great for a large group. Played a lot of ping pong and enjoyed all the space. Hosts were great and easy to work with

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This home is more than we expected. Every detail is thought of from shampoo, coffee needs, games, movies, and a fully stocked kitchen. This home is amazing with charm, antique feel, comfortable accommodations and an outdoor deck with room for everyone. Our company rented this home during an event for the week in Louisville. We enjoyed spending time together in a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of room to roam or quiet time to yourself. The Mint Julip Mansion will NOT disappoint and the host was very responsive when I had questions. New Albany has many places to eat, and so close to the Ohio River.

Fantastic place

Great communication with the host during the entire stay. Frequent updates and quick responses. House is a charming, unique, and has all the things you need for a big group!Kitchen is huge with two cook tops, 2 ovens, and 2 microwaves! We didn’t get to enjoy the outside patio due to the weather but it looked like a great place to chill.

This mansion was perfect for our big group of friends for a quick weekend visit to the Bourbon Festival. Great location across the river from Louisville, charming little town with friendly people and great neighbors. We had 7 couples in our group and this house offered great space for fun with friends or space of your own if desired. The hosts were easy to contact and quick with responses.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a great house for a large group! We had 6 couples and each had their own bedroom with attached bath. It was comfortable, quiet and very spacious! We loved the short walk down Mansion Row into downtown New Albany. It’s also just a short 10 drive to downtown Louisville. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property!

College friends trip

The house was perfect for the 12 of us. It’s an easy drive to the Bourbon Trail and is on a beautiful street of mansions. The patio was great to hang out on in the morning and evenings. Owner was so friendly and responsive. I accidentally left a pair of shoes behind when we checked out. I contacted the owner and they found them and mailed them to me which I thought was above and beyond!! :)

Fabulous property!

I needed a location for a training retreat for 8 people with 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, close to Louisville and restaurants. The Mint Julep Mansion was the perfect solution. Immaculately clean, and in great repair for a house of this age, you can tell a lot of love and $$ has been devoted to it over the years. Furnishings were period-appropriate while comfortable for today's guests. We used the living room and its big-screen for training sessions, and the snug back room for afternoon snacks. We did buffet breakfasts, brought in FreshChefExperience for a cooking lesson one night, had La Catrina cater a fabulous taco bar lunch, had a great night on the Belle of Louisville, and super lunch at The Exchange. It was too hot and humid to enjoy the outdoor area, but it would be really fun in cooler weather. This is a perfect property for family reunions, bourbon tours or just a group of friends - and downtown New Albany is CHARMING!

We gathered for a family reunion with our four married kids and their families. This place was amazing! Plenty of space and super fun jetted tubs for everyone. Some of the beds were worn out, but we loved the location and the mansion. Favorite activity in the house was hide and seek! We appreciated having everything we needed and getting quick responses when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

We had our family reunion at this beautiful home and had such a great time. Love the fact that we had 8 bedrooms as well as 8 bathrooms and we didn't have to share bathrooms. Owners were OUTSTANDING and provided top notch response to whatever we needed. Highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL and spacious home for any large gatherings.

Perfect property for our bourbon excursion!

This eclectic old house was perfect for our group of nine, everybody had their own bathroom and bedroom (we had one couple in our group). It had everything we needed our could want. It was in a very nice area and main Street of New Albany is a short walk with plenty of bars and restaurants. Our only regret was not staying longer to use all the amenities the house has to offer.

Fantastic for large group!

This is a wonderful property. We had family come from three different states to gather and spend some quality time together. We couldn't ask for a better place to do it. The hosts provided very detailed instructions for access to the house and parking that made it super easy for us. Once inside we found a welcome basket that made us feel instantly at home. Everyone was able to have their own bedroom and bathroom and they were all clean and comfortable. The beautiful deck had plenty of seating so we could gather there in the evenings and the propane heaters kept us comfortably warm while outside. We had a cookout to celebrate a birthday and both grills worked perfectly and there were plenty of tools to help prepare our meals. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking and cleaning up afterwards. The pool table was a big hit on the one rainy night we had to stay inside. New Albany is a cool little town with lots of great restaurants. We enjoyed the Saturday market in town and it was within easy walking distance as are most of the restaurants. Sheri and Patrick were so easy to work with and made our stay so enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend this property!
