We appreciated the great location of this property - access the property and communication were excellent. We found the beds, comforters, linens, and towels to be in excellent condition â very comfortable and well-maintained. The layout of the house is a bit funky â for example the primary bedroom has a wall of sky lights with no covering, so the natural light pours in at sunrise. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather during our stay, so we couldnât fully enjoy the patio, though it does have nice furniture and a lot of potential with a little updating. Thereâs also roof access with bar chairs to enjoy the canal views.Overall, the home could benefit from some refreshing and attention to detail. The living room furniture shows noticeable wear and staining, and the area rug does not lie flat. The kitchen appears to be stocked with most essentials, but organization could be improved, as it was difficult to find items. There is a coffee maker available, but no coffee pot to go with it.Additionally, the property would benefit from deeper cleaning. The windows appear not to have been washed in quite some time, and there were visible dust accumulations (for example, on top of the refrigerator). The garage floor needs to be swept as thereâs dirt standing in there. With better organization, a thorough cleaning, and some thoughtful updates, this home could truly be a wonderful rental in a fantastic location.
