Your own private oasis! Malibu Sand Suite #16 forms part of a multi-unit complex compromised of 6 apartments and 1 main house. Thoughtfully curated for those seeking a quiet retreat.



This particular unit is a spacious 1 bedroom studio with a flat-screen TV and stunning kitchenette. Comfortable King-size bed fully outfitted in luxurious, hotel-grade linens. Exquisite bathroom with graft rain shower, LED-lit vanity mirror, Toto Neorest toilet and everyday essentials.



Breathe in the fresh ocean air as you relax on the rooftop sun loungers just outside the room!



Free parking on-site on a first come first serve basis. The current beach access is located at the public access point located just a few hundred feet down. Great location for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing.



Walk to the Malibu Pier. Steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. The Malibu Country Mart is approx. 1.2 miles away and is reachable by foot or car. Whole Foods grocery store is nearby.



We offer full concierge services upon request, including luxury car rental services, to ensure a 5-star experience during your stay.



Coastal living at its best!



**All credit card payments are subject to a 3.55% processing fee, shown at checkout. A 3.55% processing fee also applies to any additional service charges, including pre-stocking, mid-stay cleaning, pool heating, and similar services. The guest name must match the name on the credit card. For international credit cards, an additional 1.5% may be charged after booking to account for exchange rate differences—bringing the total fee to approximately 4.7%. If you prefer not to incur this fee, payment by bank wire is available. Guests wishing to pay by bank wire must notify our team prior to booking so we can provide instructions and ensure the correct payment method is arranged.



Guest Access:

Please note that guests who are staying in the Malibu Sand suites do not have access to the elevated beach surface at Malibu Sand or the elevated beach surface at SA Beach which is the property that we manage next door. There is a house on the Malibu Sand property that rents completely separate from the suites. The elevated beach surface and the rooftop jacuzzi area are reserved for the house. If you'd like to rent a suite and have access to an elevated beach surface with sand and lounge chairs, please rent one of our SA Beach suites next door! Access to CURE Wellness and Gym is also included, conveniently located nearby (not onsite).



The Neighborhood:

Dubbed "Billionaire's Beach" by locals, Carbon Beach has become one of the most popular and requested beaches in Malibu. Known for its long sandy beaches makes Carbon perfect for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. You will be steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. You can walk to Surfrider beach or the Malibu Pier from the beach access onsite, or you can walk a little further to the Country Mart for the best restaurants and shops in Malibu. There are always new shops opening nearly every day.



Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



Getting Around:

Malibu Sand Suites are located in the heart of Malibu within walking distance to the Malibu Pier and just steps away from Malibu's most iconic beach, Carbon Beach. The Malibu Country Mart is approx. 1.2 miles and is reachable by foot or car. We offer car rental services to its guests. Uber is readily available. Since this villa is managed by us, you will automatically receive preferred rental rates through Drive Awhile. Drive Awhile simplifies the car rental process by leaving your rental car at the property with keys inside. You can also leave the car at departure and work with our concierge to arrange your airport transfer. Just like our villas, all of our cars are well-optioned vehicles, ranging from Black on Black Cadillac Escalades (perfect for families) to a convertible Mercedes (perfect for couples) to a Rolls Royce Dawn to a Lamborghini Urus. Drive Awhile has something for everyone, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.



Other Things to Note:

Please message our team and speak with the Home Manage before booking. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies.



To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully.



1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.



2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law.



3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.



4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail.



5) Quiet hours: 10:00pm to 8:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors. Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



7) Day of Arrival:

Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security.



8) Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.



Standard checkout time is 10:00 AM

Late checkout is available up until 12:00 PM for a fee of $50 per hour. Guests must notify our team in advance if they would like a late checkout, as this requires rescheduling our cleaning team. Late checkouts must be approved by our team prior to confirmation



9) When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.



10) Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests.



11) Property is located on Pacific Coast Highway. Guests are subject to hearing potential road noise and/or waves crashing.



12) Parking:

There are three garage ports at the Malibu Sand property; however, only the second and third ports are for the guests staying at the Malibu Sand Suites. The second port can accommodate two vehicles and the third can accommodate one vehicle. So, there are a total of three spots. You will receive one parking pass and you cannot park in any of the three spots without the parking pass. If you are not able to get a spot, then you will need to park on PCH. Note that the handicap spot is ticketed by the police - as are all handicap spots in California. So, do not park there - or anywhere - without the relevant pass(es). The police will not hesitate to charge you +$500 for parking where you shouldn’t.



Cleanliness:

We take our cleaning seriously. You can trust that our homes are thoroughly deep cleaned between guest visits. All of our homes have white hotel-style linens, white towels, toiletries for our guests, and well stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. Amid COVID-19, our cleaning intensified: surfaces wiped with hot water and disinfectants. All towels and linens washed, regardless of appearance; many hotels don't. Door handles and high-touch spots get extra care. Staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. Our exceptional cleaning surpasses CDC standards.



This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay.



We are a professional vacation rental hospitality management company. We maintain high hospitality standards with an in-house team of designers, concierge, hosts, maintenance personnel, and stylists. We are ranked #1 in California and #4 in the country. Travel can be stressful, especially when you book without seeing the home beforehand. We eliminate that stress.

Great get-away!

I wanted a quiet, safe place by the ocean to unwind after dropping my son off at college. The private beach wasn't accessible due to high waters, but there was public beach access within a block. A short walk down the beach and I was away from the few families enjoying the sunny day. It was just what I needed. Property manager responded quickly to all of my questions.

Malibu Gem On Carbon Beach

Everything about our stay was seamless, from check in to check out. No detail was left out. There were beach chairs for our stay. The studio was impeccable. All fixtures were high-end and modern. It was spotless (and I am obsessed with clean spaces). The communication was perfect and the property team was so helpful with my questions. It is in a desirable location within walking distance to Nobu, The Farm, and other gems. I highly recommend the property.

The property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for 2 people to stay. The place is right on the beach and you can hear the water with nice beach access as well. The villa feels very private with your own large outdoor space. The location is prime and near all the essentials in Malibu. The staff was amazing and so prompt on getting back to us. Perfect Malibu Stay For Two

We enjoyed our stay in Malibu. The space is exactly as shown in pictures and is perfect for a couple. A suggestion we have is to have a smaller table and second chair for eating at or have a table and chairs on the outside private area. We did use the kitchenette in the mornings to make our coffee and toast/warm bagels/croissants. The private patio is also a great place to watch the sunset.

Perfect spa-like getaway in Malibu

This was the perfect little Malibu getaway, close to amazing restaurants, the Malibu pier, shopping, etc. My villa had a view of the ocean and I woke up to see a pod of dolphins and beautiful sunrise. The bathroom has spa amenities including a rain head shower, Toto toilet, and super soft towels, slippers, and robe. I enjoyed sipping on a Nespresso coffee in the morning while sitting outside in my private green space. When I arrived everything was very clean. Although there is beach access, it was too rocky for my bad ankle, but luckily there is a flatter public access way to the beach just a block down. Would definitely stay here again for a weekend getaway!

Best way to experience a weekend in Malibu

What a wonderful stay in Malibu at Stay Awhile Villas. Located on the beach side of PCH with private beach access and beautiful views of the ocean, PCH, sunrises, and sunsets from our roof top studio. Very satisfied and impressed with the studio, its design & layout, sound proof windows, comfy bed & linens, and the amenities provided. Friendly and attentive staff as well. Alex took great care of us.
