We had such a wonderful stay at Deb’s place in Mar Vista! From the moment we arrived, she went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable. She was incredibly responsive and reminded us multiple times to let her know if we needed anything at all—she’d take care of it right away.The house itself was stocked with thoughtful touches: plenty of snacks, bubbly water, tangerine juice, and more. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need—including high-quality All-Clad pots and pans, which we really appreciated.The backyard was private and charming, complete with a fire pit where we enjoyed making s’mores. Our absolute favorite part, though, was the European-style bathroom—it had a rain shower and a standalone jetted tub that felt like a spa.Overall, Deb’s hospitality and the details of the home made our stay relaxing, fun, and memorable. We’ll definitely rent her place again, the next time we’re in town!

The Most Non-Transactional Experience Ever – More Than a Stay, It Was Family

This might sound over-the-top, but this was hands down the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had—and honestly, probably the best rental experience anywhere. We were looking for a beautiful space to host a small baby shower. I’m 8 months pregnant, and despite lots of searching, we couldn’t find a host willing to accommodate us
 until, somehow, we found Debbie.From the moment we arrived, Debbie greeted us like old friends. She helped my mother and me with our things while my husband was still on the way with our son. And that was just the beginning.Debbie went above and beyond—prepping our flowers in the kitchen, offering a gorgeous patio couch from her private area (which wasn’t even part of the rental!), and even helping with decorations as our guests arrived. She opened up her personal living room patio and connected her surround sound system so we could play music. She didn’t just support us—she joined us, blending right in with the celebration in the warmest way possible. Several guests even thought she was part of our family.And honestly, by the end of it, she felt like she was. Debbie didn’t just host us—she welcomed us into her world with open arms. It felt less like a booking and more like a family member offering up her home to make a special day unforgettable.Debbie, we are so grateful to you. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and heart. We’ll absolutely be back—and not just because the home is stunning, but because you made it feel like home.

A Lovely Retreat

Our stay was beyond wonderful. By far this is one of the nicest homes we have stayed at. It felt like we were staying at a spa retreat! The property is beautiful, the location is perfect for accessing nearby restaurants and activities, the accommodations are exceptional, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.We traveled with our pets and were pleased to find that the backyard was secure. Outside we also enjoyed spending time at the fire pit and even used the BBQ one evening.Inside the kitchen was well stocked. The host even left us some farm fresh eggs! We had ample snacks and beautiful cut flowers. We would definitely stay here again.

Evacuation Excellence

We were evacuated from our home 1/7 due to the Palisades fire. It became clear that we needed more than just a few nights, and Deb's VRBO looked like an ideal location and accommodation. It turned out to be an idyllic home away from home-beautiful accommodation allowing for our cat to stay as well, wonderful host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine and moral support for our situation. We were able to explore a new neighborhood, find incredible restaurants and keep in touch with our home situation which was day to day. Deb provides all information anyone would need for staying in the area and is incredibly responsive to any needs.

Fantastic place and wonderful host!

We came to LA for a family event and to see friends. Deb’s place was perfect both in terms of location and amenities. We loved the fully stocked kitchen and the garden space. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was like being at a spa. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

Great Property

AMAZING FIND!!!

We had an AMAZING stay at this location. The location was great, the hostess was AMAZINGLY KIND. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Oasis in LA Concrete Jungle

Deb was so welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived. Fresh flowers helped make my birthday trip special. The kitchen was well stocked and filtered water was available in two locations. The backyard was beautiful and a secure area for our dogs. We had access to more streaming services than at home. All things considered, I can’t of any place in LA we would prefer to stay! This place is a real find!

Amazing Home and Host

So much care and thought went in to the design of the space and the extra amenities that are put into it. The space goes above and beyond ! From the snacks in the fridge and on the counter to the beautiful wet room bathroom with a gorgeous tub and stocked with bathroom essentials. The location is amazing with cafes within walking distance and parking is easy to find at the house and in town! I stayed here for Rolling Loud with my boyfriend and cannot speak highly enough of our experience!

5 stars are not enough!

WOW - there are not enough stars to rate this house and I am not a good enough writer to express just how wonderful, amazing, incredible Deb's house is. My wife and I retired early to travel - and we have stayed at 5+ VRBO's each year for the past 5 - and never, ever have we found a better place. Spotless, amenities, comfort, location, host, everything was perfect. We could not believe how well the place was stocked...pots, pans, high end sheets and towels, bath products (my wife highly recommends a good soak in the tub!!) eggs, yogurt, snacks, fruit, orange juice, and even little details like fresh flowers - yes FRESH FLOWERS - what hosts thinks of that? Well Deb does and she was just an incredible host. She was thorough as she met us to explain how everything works, and so helpful with many, many recommendations. She is such a friendly and genuinely nice person! Thank you for a great stay Deb and we will honor our promise to stay again!!

Heartwarming stay

The host's premier status is well-earned! The architecture, decor, accommodations, and supplies far exceeded expectations. We were delighted with everything! Provisions in the kitchen and the bathroom were fabulous! We live well, but this stay felt truly luxurious. It was also wonderfully located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything we needed. We hope to return someday and to stay in touch. I can't say enough good things to adequately express how pleased we were that we found this place to stay.

Sanctuary

Deb is the most gracious host. We didn’t want for anything. The star of the weekend was the secluded and quiet back yard garden that we shared with hummingbirds and squirrels. Also, her suggestion of a local fish restaurant was excellent and within walking distance.

Beautiful place, wonderful host!

We came for a long girls weekend and the property was in a great neighborhood where we felt safe and is so close to everything! The place was AMAZING, with everything you could need or want. Basic + top grade extras were stocked in the kitchen and the bathroom down to the bath salts for the huge whirlpool tub, which my friend loved soo much! We really loved the walk-in closet, nothing makes women happier than a walk-in closet with so much space to move around! The whole place was just so amazing. We asked for recommendations and Deb had all kinds of list for us, that were so helpful. Deb was just amazing with everything we asked about or for she was on it right then and there for us. At night we sat on the deck in the beautiful private back yard and just talked, laughed and ate with the sun going down and a light breeze, it couldn’t have been any better than that. Better than a 5 star hotel! We will be back!

Great location in LA.

We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed our stay in west LA. Our location was close to the beach, Marina Del Rey, and to Hollywood attractions. The place was awesome and the host was excellent in every way. We will be back !

LA Oasis

This hidden gem is delightful. The decor, tranquil setting and host are such a pleasure. Everything I could have wished for and more! I will definitely make this my LA hideaway when visiting the area. And Deb is a gem! Much appreciated!

Immaculate, well-equipped, high-end furnishings

The property was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed the spa-style hot tub. The frig was stocked with eggs, OJ, butter, yogurt. And also fruits and snacks were provided. Plus there was a reverse osmosis water filter in the kitchen, which was a nice bonus. Deb was super helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Paradise in LA

Place is awesome and Deb is a great host. Came out to show me all the amenities and how to use everything. Her place is top notch installation with high quality everything. Safe neighborhood as well. Great place for couples to enjoy their time together in LA. Lots of privacy. Thanks Deb.

Complete Privacy in a Lovely, Luxury Quality Studio Apartment

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and new grand baby who live near Deb’s place. Her in-home apartment could not have been more perfect. We had complete privacy in a lovely, luxury quality studio apartment in a charming, safe neighborhood. We had the use of a beautiful back yard completely to ourselves and we entertained our daughter and family both inside our cozy apartment and outdoors. The just installed full kitchen was beautifully designed with top quality appliances and marble countertops. We are cooks and it was a joy to cook in. Every possible kitchen need was supplied. Top quality washer and dryer in the huge walk in closet. The bathroom was luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The lighting was so well thought out. Deb was a delight. So thoughtful and responsive. I asked if she could put a comfortable chair in the very large walk-in closet so my husband, a very early riser, could have his coffee without waking me up! Deb not only put a comfortable chair in there but also a little side table, an ottoman and some chocolates! He was completely comfortable!! We were greeted with an overflowing basket of yummy snacks and fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and chilled bottled waters plus lovely breakfast options of the highest quality. Overall, we felt pampered and happy and will definitely be coming back often. Cannot think of a more pleasant place to stay!
