Fabuleux Malibu beach house sur une plage de sable sèche

Avec des escaliers privés vers votre propre plage de sable sèche dans une crique avec surf, baignade et pêche, dans une rue sans issue, cette maison confortable a tout pour faire de votre séjour l'un de vos meilleurs souvenirs de vacances. Il y a une nouvelle cuisine gastronomique, une grande salle, une salle à manger avec des sièges pour 10 personnes, une tanière et deux chambres principales, toutes sur l'eau. Les chambres au bord de l'eau ont chacune des baies vitrées avec une vue spectaculaire sur l'océan et chacune a sa propre terrasse.

Le mobilier est vaste et confortable, y compris des sièges et des bancs faits à la main, des antiquités et des beaux-arts. Il y a des lucarnes dans les couloirs et les salles de bain. Il y a des cheminées dans le salon, la tanière et la chambre principale. Il y a une douche d'eau chaude directement sur la plage. C'est super pour les familles avec enfants.

Sur la crique isolée de Latigo, loin de la Pacific Coast Highway, l'océan est rempli d'oiseaux, de marsouins et de baleines incroyables. Il y a une bonne pause surf, un canal de natation pour enfants et des marées au point. C'est dans une rue calme sans issue, ce qui le rend parfait pour la baignade, la navigation de plaisance, la pêche, le surf ou tout simplement pour se détendre. Les kayaks (si vous savez comment) sont inclus. Faites une excellente randonnée dans le parc d'État de Solstice jusqu'à la cascade de Corral Canyon ou promenez-vous le long de la plage à marée basse jusqu'à Paradise Cove et son Beach Cafe souvent photographié et son bar local. Nous sommes à seulement trois kilomètres de Pepperdine, du Civic Center et de la célèbre colonie de Malibu, de Surfrider Beach et du Pier.

A wonderful week on the beach

We spent just under a week here with our 3 children and had a total blast. The owners were fast to communicate and the property could not have worked out better for us. Convenient location and you feel like you have your own part of the beach. Highly recommend.

Amazing setting

Big family event to celebrate a graduation. Dennis made us feel very welcome. The views and spot are just perfect. Wonderful hours were spent on the decks, watching the surfers and waves. Lots of space to visit and play games.

A Wonderful Getaway

We recently rented this house with two other families and it was fantastic! This house is one of the few houses that still has a terrific beach during high and low tide. We had friends who rented another house down the way but ended up enjoying the beach outside our house during the day because it was so fantastic. We look forward to renting this house again.

Absolute pleasure and amazing.

This is an amazing home on a beautiful special beach. Our entire family was happy and loved being in this family oriented home. there is something for everyone. Surfing, boogie boarding, hiking, bike riding - all is here. We have rented this house on a few different occasions and would do so again.

The home was everything we hoped for and more. We have stayed in many places and this home was the most remarkable. This home tells a story and leaves room for you to tell yours. Most memorable family vacation

Woke up in the morning to the most gorgeous ocean view - we enjoyed our coffee while watching porpoises and pelicans from our deck. Home sits on a beautiful calm beach that is perfect for relaxation, freebie and football throwing. We went to sleep listening to the ocean waves. Home is spacious, nicely furnished with a great kitchen and well stocked. It was the most memorable getaway ever for our family gathering. Everyone had an amazing time. A Place of Dreams

I cannot imagine a more perfect location than this home. Beachfront. Sand no matter the tide. This little stretch of beach is protected by wind. Kind neighbors. A very well loved and cared for home. And Dennis and Leah could not possibly be more kind, straightforward in all communication, and just overall ideal hosts. My family stayed here for 6 weeks Feb-March 2021 and never wanted to leave. I could not recommended this place more highly, especially for families with young kids.

The ultimate Malibu experience

This property instantly immersed us in the very best Malibu has to offer. A truly, one of a kind location on a gorgeous, quiet (feels almost private) beach, dry even at high tide. Waves crashing and dolphins playing right in front of the house. A fun, surfing point break right off the beach. Pace of life here immediately slows down, yet Malibu Colony with all its great amenities, restaurants and stores only 8 minutes away. The house was comfortable and well equipped; very much the owners' beloved home with their personal effects and memories shared trustingly and openly with their guests. The owners were easy to contact, very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommended for a family holiday in great comfort, with a truly privileged location. Having previously lived in Los Angeles, we returned with our family of six to experience the Malibu way of life and this really delivered.

This house is wonderful! I've stayed up and down the coast and this little pocket is my absolute favorite. During low tide, you can walk for miles. The house is warm and welcoming. The set up is perfect for either a small or large group. The kitchen is stocked with anything you need. The beds are comfy, plenty of towels and the master bedroom is quite large. The decks are perfect for coffee and cocktails. 2 large Tv's, one in master and one in den. They have every beach toy, board, kayak you would ever need. The views are spectacular. But more importantly, the owners are lovely. Very prompt, extremely kind and my deposit was returned promptly. My month went way too fast!

Incredible Getaway Right on the Beach

Dennis and Leah have a truly amazing and very special home in the Latigo Cove area of Malibu. The home is right on the ocean with beach front access to a virtually private beach. The sunrises every morning and sunsets every evening were breathtaking - photos don't do them justice. The home holds a large group really easily, though I wouldn't recommend more than 10 people if you are not a very close group as a few of the beds are quite small. The kitchen is perfect and has everything that you need if you decide to cook all of your meals in the house. There are kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards and many beach activities available, so you don't have to go out and rent anything. Dennis was so kind to walk us through the home on the day of check-in. He and his family have clearly put a lot of love into the place and it shows. We had zero complaints/issues with the home and our stay. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm looking for a beach escape in Malibu. Thank you Dennis and Leah for a wonderful long weekend!

Outstanding home and views!

The located and views of this home are TOP TIER! Phenomenal beach access, with all of the equipment and toys you need to enjoy days in the ocean. Literally feet away from an excellent point break in the bay. Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The home is meticulously cleaned with plenty of space for a small group of friends or family to not be on top of each other. Beautiful neighborhood as well! I wasn’t expecting the live in guest upstairs but rhea was open and welcoming as long as we kept the music at a low level. Don’t come expecting to play loud beach music because Rhea will shut that down fast! Lol Dennis was excellent in terms of communication and contact. As were the neighbors he listed as additional contacts. I really enjoyed my time at the house and loved the natural sound track of the Pacific Ocean crashing into the shore every night. Beautiful!

Breathtaking ocean views!

We chose this home largely due to there being a bedroom & full bathroom on the ground level of the home, as we were celebrating my mother in laws 84th birthday and didn’t want her to have to climb many stairs. The home was well kept & beautifully decorated with different art pieces & decor that we really enjoyed. There is a “music room” where they so graciously allow guests to use their piano & guitars. There was also a little table in there where we played chess while others attempted to explore their inner musician. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all of the cookware that we needed, the grill is hooked to the gas for the house (so no need to worry about running out of propane), and the wine chiller & wet bar were well stocked! We enjoyed a bottle of their wine & replaced it with one of ours. The large TV’s are ready to go with Disney & Netflix, with guest accounts available for use. This was great in the evening for some chill time for the younger kids that were tired from a full day. The view is simply beautiful and AMAZING! There is a large main level deck with plenty of seating, and a second level deck accessible from the master & 2nd master. I cannot emphasize the views you have at this home. The beach was perfect and sandy and we spent hours enjoying it. We went out early in the morning during low tide to check out the tide pools, which was fun as well. We would love to go back again!!

Wonderful Beach Week!

I needed a vacation home that would fit my family visiting from Australia, (6 kids and 8 adults) , preferably on the beach in Malibu. Dennis and Leah's home was everything we needed and more. The location is excellent. A beautiful beachfront property and on a quiet street. The house was perfect for our size. The kids had space to run around and the adults had space to get some peace and quiet. The house is very well set up with everything you would need for a large group. We had several special dinners at the house and were happy to find all the cooking gear we needed, wine glasses, dining sets, even kids plates and cups. We spent most evenings on the deck looking over the ocean and most days on the beach. From beds, sheets and blankets to dining, internet, tv and laundry - the house has everything you will need. Dennis and Leah were lovely to work with. I had a couple of questions about beach lights and TV when we first arrived, Dennis and Leah were very communicative and answered my questions immediately. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a special group getaway and I hope to return to the house sometime soon.

Absolute paradise!!

Dennis and Leah were so thoughtful and generous with their time and efforts even before our stay that we knew we'd made the right choice with this home! We brought our large family from the East Coast, and our in-laws from Canada, for some much needed reunion time and R&R. The location is absolutely stunning and the naturescapes are truly second to none. The gorgeous bird formations, busy sea life, and even whale sightings made it unforgettable! For those unfamiliar with Malibu beaches, it’s rare to find a home that affords so much ‘dry beach’ for walking, playing, and picnicking, another major bonus with this rental. Inside, the home is wonderfully spacious and has a thoughtful and rustic charm. There are many areas to spread out and enjoy nature gazing, reading, movies, boardgames, conversations, or music nights (and thank you Dennis and Leah for going way above and beyond to have the new piano delivered in time for our stay!) For outdoor fun, there were copious amounts of towels, beach chairs, toys for the kids, surf boards, and wetsuits for all ages. We would not hesitate for a moment to rent this amazing property again, and in fact, we will be recommending it highly to friends and family alike! Once in a lifetime vacation - well maybe not once

If you know Malibu and the Pacific Coast highway, you know there are scores of homes on the beach - but also right on the highway. Dennis and Leah's home is one of the few that are right on the beach but way off the road. That means very quiet, except for the glorious sound of the surf. The house is luxurious, spacious and well equipped - you will want for nothing. We spent a week there with family and friends. It's perfect for just hanging out and relaxing, soaking up the sun on comfortable deck chairs, walking on the beach, surfing or kayaking. Our daughters wedding kept us busy for the first couple days but I just kept wanting to get back to the house and chill. If you want to get out, you are only 20 minutes from the Santa Monica pier, and just a little further to all the greater LA area attractions. Malibu itself is 10 minutes away with all that you really need. Cool farmer's market there on Sundays. The best part is the hospitality and responsiveness of the owners and the property manager. We were made to feel like family. No hassles, no problems. Hope we have the opportunity to come back some day.
