Best part of our California vacation was meeting Todd, visiting the animals and relaxing in the beautiful guest house! Super clean, kitchen has everything you could need and cozy decor. Great outdoor space and very private. Awesome walking/bike path right out the door. Quick trip to Trader Joe’s. Found and loved Cafe Ficelle in TO. Don’t miss Pointe Dume with a coffee & pastry from Le Cafe de la Plage Malibu!!! Loved everything! We’ll be back. Thank you Todd!

We enjoyed a delightful five day stay in this unit beautifully converted from a garage to a very comfortable studio apartment with private patio. As a somewhat mobility-challenged senior, I appreciated the close parking, level entry, and quiet community. While the unit lacks a range/oven, the kitchen is well equipped including microwave, toaster oven, hotplate, and full sized refrigerator. One suggested enhancement: the shower is slippery and has no grab bars; a shower mat would be a welcome safety addition particularly for seniors. Larry, Bob, and the whole animal crew are apparently widely known and loved in Thousand Oaks, and we can vouch for the fact that they love carrots. In short, enjoy your stay; we did!Thanks, Todd & Heidi, for sharing your place!

Modern retreat for two in TO!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying at this location, hosted by Todd. Our check in instructions were clear and the process was seamless. The location is ideal for those visiting Thousand Oaks and neighboring towns - quiet with and yet very close to main roads with a reserved parking spot. The space was super clean, exactly as advertised, and pet friendly. I especially appreciated the generous amount of outdoor space and the well-appointed kitchenette and bathroom. My partner and I are looking forward to rebooking this place during future trips!

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. It’s inbetween everything from beach to city with very good restaurants and shopping districts. The owners were very respectful of our privacy and there were toiletries and other things kindly offered. At the end of our stay we were able to pay a visit to Larry and bob(the respectful one) along with the goats and chickens.

Fabulous farm studio!

This property is so special, and the owners are super friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. The studio is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The decor is adorable, beds are super comfy, the studio is very clean and bright, and ample fresh linens are provided. The patio is spacious and private. The neighborhood is lovely and ideal for walks, yet has very fast and easy freeway access. The stars of the show are the animals, of course! So fun to spend time with the wide variety of well-loved animal friends. This property was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back. Thank you Todd and Heidi for such a comfortable and memorable place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just what we needed for a family event. The neighborhood was nice for walking our dog and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the animals in the back of the property . Larry was particularly friendly!We will be back the next time we visit the area!

Gracious hosts and lovely space

I spent five nights with my dog and we were both comfortable. Very relaxing and quiet space with a park and walking/biking paths right nearby. All the animals were so fun to have at the back of the property, too. I came for some rest and solitude. A very easy and clean space and the kitchenette has everything you'll need. Heidi and Todd were the perfect hosts, giving me complete privacy but available if needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in the area. Wonderful hosts, clean room with everything you need for a trip. The grounds are beautiful and there’s a bike trail at the back of the property PLUS they have wonderful animals you can hang with on site. I really love when I get to stay here. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet. Book here you won’t be disappointed!

Great 2nd Stay!

This was my second weeks stay and it was as great as the first. Clean, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect spot after a long day of training. The bed is very comfortable, the host is very kind and the neighborhood is very very safe! I highly recommend staying here and will be back again soon!

Best VRBO ever!!!!

My son was in town for some schooling and we needed something close to his school. I spoke with the host since as this is the first time my son traveled alone and Todd was kind, considerate, and so helpful in making me feel comfortable with my son’s stay. The location is peaceful, the room spotless and the grounds are more than you could hope for. It’s a truly magical spot and you feel grateful to have the opportunity to stay there. You must visit their lovely animals
they were all wonderful but Bob was the star. Book with confidence you won’t be disappointed. Safe Travels.

Cool Place

Great stay!

My husband and I came to visit family near by and this place was the perfect location! Very cute place, it was nice and clean. We felt very comfortable staying here. We also saw the Illama and alpaca farm in the back of the house. So cute and the animals were so friendly. My only suggestion would be to add more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on but otherwise we had a very nice stay. Thank you so much!
