The neighborhood was outstanding, we loved being able to walk to so many places not too far away. The next door neighbor was also very kind. While staying at this house we had a small issue and the owner was on it immediately and was very helpful and cared that we be happy and that was greatly appreciated.

Lovely property in an upscale part of Venice. Only problem we had was that the TV does not tie free into ESPN or some other channel that provided direct full online sports, which made it difficult to watch the U.S. Open in the evening without subscribing to an extra sevice.

Casa indipendente ben curata, silenziosa e pulita, esattamente come descritta nell'annuncio, con tutto l'occorrente per cucinare. Il proprietario molto disponibile e gentile per un piccolo problema al check-in (il key lock non funzionava, Ăš venuto a portare le chiavi di persona in 15'). Posizione molto comoda a due passi da Venice, con parcheggio su strada proprio di fronte e supermercati ben forniti a pochi minuti di auto.

A gem in the neighborhood

Had an incredible time lounging on the sunny patio, leisurely riding bikes to the beach, and exploring Venice and Marina del Rey on foot from the house. It's in an incredible location and is exactly as quaint and welcoming as the listing suggests.

We had a great experience at the property. We stayed for a few days for a graduation at LMU, the location was perfect. The house was clean, the instructions were clear and the host was very low key but responsive. Highly recommend!

A comfortable landing spot for a family of four

My family absolutely loved this cottage and would rent again if visiting Marina del Rey. We appreciated the proximity to Venice and loved walking the cute neighborhood. It was about a 10-min walk to the beginning of Abbott Kinney and another few mins to the canals, but with our kids we decided to drive most days to the beach and park for 6 in the lot. So much to do and see there! The house was just really comfortable and allowed us to spread out and have our own quiet spaces after a busy day. The streaming options were great and easy to access, as was the Internet (the Wifi name gave my kids a chuckle). The only thing I'd say is with one bathroom and no fan, be prepared for a few awkward moments and waiting to use the shower/toilet.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our selves so much. Our 5 year old daughter loved exploring the small yard. We loved watching the humming birds from the front patio. The house has everything you need. The kitchen has so many helpful supplies for cooking. Walking around the neighborhood was a joy. Parking was so easy, the street is so quiet and calm. The location is great. We’d love to come back.

Wonderful 12 day stay

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in this comfortable home in an excellent pocket of MDR. From the sunny front deck and the comfortable beds to the immaculate condition of the home and the friendly hosts...we felt truly lucky to have landed on this great accommodation in the middle of July for our little family get together. We were 4 adults...our adult kids joined us...and there was space for everyone. Our very tall son loved the pull out sofa in the 'garage.' Thanks for letting us use the bikes too! We hope to be back! If its available, book it.

Perfect Location

We loved this rental, it was in the perfect quiet location, walk to the beach. The house was the perfect size for us. We loved the front yard and spent a lot of time out there. It's in the perfect location to visit several neighboring cities, Malibu, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. We hit up a couple of places the hosts recommended and enjoyed everything. The price was right!

EXCELLENT!!

Could not have been better.. from location to amenities.. owners were very interactive and worked hard to get us an early check in . Location is perfect.. walking distance to many spots. Neighborhood is beautiful.. house had every amenity needed and then some.. front and back outdoor seating was a bonus. Will be our go to now that our son has moved to LA .. you will not be disappointed..

Spring break 2022

The house was AMAZING. Furnishings were top notch; neighborhood was so quiet and very safe. WiFi worked really well for all of us. Easy to find parking nearby if not always right in front of house. Out oldest kid slept in the "garage" room and loved the big screen tv & comfy pull-out sofa. Large W/D for use and we really appreciated the water dispenser! Double sink in bathroom and extra-large shower with two shower heads. The water pressure has been mentioned before so I'll say this - it was intense and did not feel good on a sunburn but would not stop me from staying again. If you have a toddler I would actually ask if the pressure could be turned down as it was that strong. This rental is a gem for families with all kitchen amenities provided. Scott, the friendly neighbor, is a bonus as well. Sad we only met him the day before we left. I would say that having the fridge and freezer cleaned out after every stay would be a must-do as it doesn't take long for left-over food to pile up. The owner came by to get some packages and was kind enough to take away some of the freezer items left by prior renters so we would have room for food we bought. There was a lot of food in the fridge too, cut up lemons and expired items that took up a lot of space so it's my recommendation to have this cleaned out better each time. The pantry cabinets were also jammed packed with food that really could be cleaned out thoroughly. My last recommendation would be to clean out or "hide" the personal items better, so it felt more like a VRBO home then feeling like you were house sitting. Lock or close off the personal side of the closets where you have stuff that is not for use by renters and a clean out of the bathroom toiletries that have been left behind, so each new renter had space for their own stuff. The shower shelves and bathroom cabinets were packed with items leaving only the counter for your things. All in all, we LOVED the house and would most definitely stay again, even with jam packed cabinets!

Charming and cozy bungalow in a quiet neighborhood close to many attractions including Venice canals and beach. House very comfortable. Highest marks for the amazing shower and comfortable beds. The outdoor deck furniture great spot for afternoon nap. David was very responsive and a great host.

This property is convenient to access all that Marina del Rey , Venice, and Santa Monica have to offer . The kitchen is well appointed and appreciated since we cooked most of our meals., We were limited in going out due to my husband’s surgery in the area .

Perfect location and as described

Property was great and area quiet but near to everything, like abbot Kinney. Ample parking. Beds were comfortable. Only mild complaint is the shower pressure was so hard!! Almost painful. Maybe turn that down :)
