Part of the Cornish countryside for more than 300 years, Cartole Cottages are situated along the south Cornish coast, an area that has a great heritage of tales and legends of fishing and smuggling. Our collection of six self-catering holiday cottages, converted from the original barns and stables, await you. Come and create your own stories and memories. Relax in one of our family friendly and dog friendly cottages. We pride ourselves on welcoming the whole family so that you can all enjoy your holiday together. Children will love having the space to run around and let off steam and parents can relax, happy in the knowledge that the little ones are playing in a safe environment. We also have play equipment and garden games to ensure that there is something for everyone, whatever their age.

We know that if you’re a dog owner that you’ll want to bring along your four-legged friend, so we are happy to accept well behaved dogs in most of our cottages.

Take a day trip to The Eden Project, The Lost Garden of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and many other National Trust properties. Or be inspired by the locations which influenced Daphne Du Maurier’s and Rosamunde Pilcher’s famous novels and also where Poldark and Doc Martin were filmed.
