Combining creature comforts with rural splendour, this ideally placed cabin in southeast Cornwall is perfect for peaceful walks or exploring the fine coastline that Cornwall is so famous for. Known as âShipton Abbottâ in the BBCâs drama, Beyond Paradise, the coastal town of Looe (4 miles) is a pretty fishing hamlet with colourful boats, charming streets and fresh seafood restaurants. It also has an idyllic beach and access to the South West Coast Path, where fabulous views are coupled with stops at the pub. Other local beaches include Polperro, Hannafore and Seaton (all within 8 miles). Walkers will enjoy a visit to beautiful Bodmin Moor and the cascading waterfalls of Golitha Falls and the world famous Eden Project is within easy reach.
This wooden-clad holiday home is set on an elevated site within a complex of other cabins, offering a rustic, outdoorsy experience. Park up and walk to the hut, where you will step into a stylish retreat with all your creature comforts at hand. In front of you will be the small but functional kitchenette, with an electric hob, microwave and undercounter fridge/freezer. To the left, a comfortable sofa beckons guests to unwind whilst embracing the far-reaching countryside and coastal views. For cosy nights in, snuggle up in the king-size bed on the left-hand side of the lodge, and catch up on your favourite book. Awake to picturesque sunrises and views of the sea through the window at your feet, before enjoying a leisurely shower in the shower room with WC. If you want to share a special time with extra guests, the sofa doubles as a bed (suitable for children only).
At the end of busy days, immerse yourself in the dark, twinkling skies whilst relaxing on your decking. Grill some local produce over the fire pit, or enjoy a relaxing hot soak in the outside person bath tub with fairy lights, surrounded by nature . The double hammock is lovely for admiring the views, while the picnic table offers a dining experience in the fresh Cornish air. Parking for one car nearby.
