La maison de 150 ans de Cold Spring Farm compte 20 piÚces, six chambres, deux salles de bain complÚtes, une cuisine moderne, une buanderie pratique et une terrasse relaxante. La ferme est située dans les collines pittoresques de Bear Valley sur 50 acres, ce qui en fait la passerelle parfaite pour tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la vie à la campagne à son maximum. Cette maison historique est l'un des six lieux de naissance possibles de Frank Lloyd Wright et du pÚre de Frank Lloyd Wright, William Wright, souvent visité ici. Il a joué du piano, qui est toujours à la maison, et a aidé à divertir des invités du monde entier qui ont visité la ferme. Considérée comme l'une des sept demeures de Bear Valley, cette maison en brique crémeuse possÚde beaucoup de caractÚre et de charme.

Entre Spring Green et Richland Center, il est proche du Taliesin de Frank Lloyd Wright, de l'AD German Warehouse, de l'American Players Theatre, des pistes cyclables, du kayak et de nombreuses activités de plein air.

The house was very clean. The kitchen had more than the needed cook and dish wares for food prep and serving. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the showers were large and had great water pressure. Outside, the deck was nice, and equipped with plenty of seating. The firepit was relaxing and fun. Overall, yes, the house is 150 years old but was maintained good and gave our group everything we needed for our Fall getaway. Our hosts were extremely helpful and caring in making our stay wonderful.

This is an absolutely charming, picturesque, historical house situated in the beautiful rolling hills of the Driftless area. The country setting is a great getaway from the congestion of the city. The house offers all the amenities and conveniences of home. The saloon is a very entertaining area to have a drink, let the kids run, have some fun, and get some great photos. The hosts are informative, very friendly, and quick to answer any questions. Stop thinking about it and just book it before someone else beats you to it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway! It was a beautiful spot, with rolling hills, corn fields, peaceful and quiet. The house was spacious, we all had nice bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and wonderful outdoor areas. We were pretty close to everything we wanted to do, attend a play at the American Performance Theatre and take a tour at Taliesin. We were also close to Spring Green and Mineral Point was not too far away, both small towns have nice restaurants, and shops!

Celebrated my 50th Birthday here with my family (10 people). Picked this spot because we took a Wisconsin River Canoe/Kayak trip prior with the ending spot in Spring Green (Peck's Landing), plus we are interested in Frank Loyd Wright. If you like old historic houses, you will love this one. Although the rooms have that historic charm, the bathrooms are updated and are very nice with great water pressure. There is plenty of room outside for privacy and to walk around. The Outbuilding with the bar and games was hit with the whole family (Bags Tournament), and the firepit area was a great way to end the day. Highly Recommended! Thank You!

Great for Family Get-a-way

My adult siblings, our partners, and I spent a weekend at this location. The home was large enough for our group of 11. The building itself was a maze full of surprises. We especially appreciated the Saloon and the fire pit.

We had a very nice time; thank you. However, you have a serious rodent problem. The kitchen had mice scurrying around, and the utensil drawer was full of droppings--we had to was and isolate the silverware. Please hire an exterminator!

This house was amazing, everything was steeped in history. Our 2 D&D groups came here for our endgame weekend. We have a neurodivergent bunch and everyone is foodies. there were lots of places for folks to step away and recharge. the bathrooms were huge and spacious. the table could fit us all for meals. the outdoor spaces were inviting and well cared for. the kitchen was huge and very well stocked. we had plenty of space for everyone to spread out.What a lovely home, fully of character, history, and life.

Great place for a much needed reset!

Four gals taking a weekend getaway found some peace and lots of laughter at this historic home. We loved exploring the home and all of the relics within it. The shed, the firepit and walking trail were lovely additions. We even saw a fox that lives nearby! Would definitely stay again.

Delightful quiet location. Anout 11-12 mi outside of Spring Green.

Don’t plan on walking into town for shopping or lunch,etc. Driving to any destination is required. That issue was fine with our group. sitting on the deck with our morning coffee , or cocktail hour was great. Amazing antiques throughout the house

A big place for a big group

We needed a property with five bedrooms and multiple bathrooms so this place fit the bill. The kitchen was well-stocked with most things we needed. The beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the piano and table games. The outdoor activities were also just fine. However, we were all rather horrified by the lack of smoke alarms in each bedroom and other rooms.

Women's Weekend 33

We really enjoyed exploring this wonderful house! It was filled with a history of photos and period pieces. With 8 of us in our group, there was plenty of room for meals, sleeping, and just relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, there were 2 refrigerators for all our weekend treats, and 2 ice makers for our evening cocktails. We enjoyed our evening campfire. A beautiful country setting.
