Nicole a Ă©tĂ© vraiment rĂ©active a toutes nos demandes et toutes les instructions concernant l'appartement Ă©taient parfaites, ses diffĂ©rents conseils Ă©galement. L'appartement est bien Ă©quipĂ©, tout le nĂ©cessaire y est. Dans son jus, un rafraichissement gĂ©nĂ©ral permettrait Ă  ce que l'on s'y sente vraiment chez soi, il a du potentiel pour ĂȘtre un vĂ©ritable espace cocooning. Il est trĂšs bien situĂ© et le quartier est atypique et calme. Si nous devons revenir Ă  Londres nous songerons sĂ©rieusement Ă  le louer Ă  nouveau.

Very well situated in a calm area, easy to go around with the public transportation. Very nice grocery store nearby. Its was very easy to communicate with the host.Rooms and bed were confortable and we had everything we needed.The flat could use a bit of fresh paint but that would be the only very minor downside.Would recommand

A typically English flat

We were looking for a flat with a west end charm . We enjoy historic homes and victorian style houses and the flat met our expectations. It is nicely situated in a residential crescent near little Venice. A few things in the flat need fixing and renovation to make it even more enjoyable. Nicole is a great host and made everything easy for us for check- in and check -out.

Une super semaine

Nous avons passĂ© 6 jours dans l'appartement de Nicole, qui a Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement disponible avant et pendant le sĂ©jour, par mail. L'appartement est typiquement londonnien (selon l'idĂ©e que l'on peut s'en faire) : une rue typique ; des petites marches pour accĂ©der aux deux niveaux de l'appartement ; des piĂšces bien sĂ©parĂ©es ; une cuisine fonctionnelle (trĂšs pratique pour dĂźner); les toilettes et la salle de bain sĂ©parĂ©es ; de la fenĂȘtre de la cuisine, nous avons vu un renard tous les jours (animal trĂšs prĂ©sent Ă  Londres)! L'appartement est trĂšs accessible en mĂ©tro pour aller dans le centre de Londres. Il est tout prĂšs d'une ligne de bus qui nous emmĂšne Ă  Notting Hill et Ă  Camden Market. Et surtout....sur la ligne d'Overground qui mĂšne directement Ă  Watford Junction..pour aller au studio Harry Potter (11 GPD par personne environ)! Nicole a gentiment rĂ©pondu Ă  toutes nos questions. Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour...un super souvenir pour toute la famille.

L'appartement est propre et bien agencé, seulement il aurait besoin d'un complet rafraßchissement. Le quartier est calme et la localisation par rapport aux transports est acceptable (il faut marcher un peu). Les propriétaires ont été trÚs attentionnés et trÚs réactifs en cas de problÚme, un grand merci à eux !

Appartement sympa à une vingtaine de minutes, en métro, du centre-ville. Le quartier est calme, ce qui est agréable aprÚs des journées actives. Epicerie, pub et restaurants à proximité L'hÎtesse, Nicole, est trÚs réactive et à l'écoute!

Very responsive hosts!

We had a great stay. We had a little glitch with check-in and the host was immediately responsive and very cool about making it right. The apartment is spacious and comfy. Our 18 year old son was very happy on the huge pullout! We appreciated the washer/dryer. The neighborhood is great and reminded us of being at home in Brooklyn. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Good place to stay for families

Nicole was a wonderful host and truly goes above and beyond to communicate clearly and made us feel very welcomed. The flat had everything we needed and we were able to find good places to eat and a supermarket. It’s huge for a London flat!I’d recommend mapping to Queens Park station, because Google kept trying to take us to a different station and that is a better location. We were happy with the flat. The downstairs neighbors do smoke quite a bit, and that was the only negative for us as it was hot and we kept the windows open.

Nicole was a very attentive host. She answered my initial questions shortly after booking very promptly. Then just before our arrival we received the pertinent information we required. Upon check in she provided local suggestions for groceries, restaurants, local transport etc. all very good recommendations. The flat was well appointed. Quiet neighborhood with a 5-10 minute walk to bus/tube. We pulled our suitcases along the sidewalk no problem. Was quite warm while we were there (25-27C) so the third floor apartment was warm. The pedestal fan was appreciated.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this flat. First off, Nicole is fabulous. She is extremely responsive, clear in her directions, and lays out the best way to get there, where to eat, get groceries, and sends even more details in her messages so you don’t miss a thing. The neighborhood is safe. It is right across the street from a school and there are many schools in the neighborhood as well. The train is close, near delicious restaurants (I highly recommend Bob’s cafe and my husband would say the fish and chips just around the corner). The flat itself had everything we needed for our travels including shampoo, conditioner, plenty of toilet paper, washer/dryer, kitchen necessities (even cinnamon and sugar!). It’s super cute and we slept comfortably each night. Nicole checked in on us (via messages) several times to make sure we had what we needed and accommodated our needs/requests. If we ever come back to London we will definitely stay at Nicole’s again!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay and having the sitting room for our teenage son worked out perfectly. We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood and the location was convenient for both bus and tube to the rest of the city. Nicole was a communicative host that gave us great tips for the area.

We were very satisfied with the apartment.The furnishings are a bit dated, but functional.The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of helpful tips.From the apartment, we were only a 10-minute walk from a bus stop or subway station, from where we could take public transportation to the city center.We can recommend the apartment to travelers who do not place excessive value on luxury, but rather are looking for accommodation that is functional and well located.a

I, my husband, and our adult son stayed comfortably for a 3-night stay. Hostess was generous & expedient with her communication, including helpful information about the area and getting around. The flat is well-equipped with coffee & tea appliances. There’s a hairdryer & a straightening iron. If you are NOT travelling light, be prepared to carry luggage up two full flights of narrow stairs.

Excellent Stay

The space was as advertised and a good location for the first part of our trip to London. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and Nicole was an excellent host with very quick responses. We had a couple minor issues come up during our stay that Nicole worked to resolve within minutes! The Queens Park station is a short walk and there is a small grocery nearby that was convenient for cooking a couple of meals in while we were there, along with some restaurants and coffee shops. Bus line access is also very close and was a fun and convenient option for a few of our ventures.

Fabulous Flat -- walk to everything!

I absolutely adored this flat, and a lot of that was thanks to Nicole and Will. From the start -- even before I booked -- Nicole quickly answered all my questions. After I booked, she sent a full page of information, and was patient with me when I was having trouble with the app. Check in itself was a breeze -- at one point I got confused because there were two keyboxes in different spots; I texted Will and he steered me in the right direction. Similarly, when there was a slight issue with hot water, I again texted Will, who knew exactly how to fix it, which I did right away, so we had ZERO discomfort. As for the space itself, it's large and charming and comfortable. The area is residential (with some very friendly neighborhood cats), but an easy walk to the Tube, terrific restaurants, and shopping. I in fact walked all over London from the flat, even to the London Eye and beyond. That's a trek and I love to walk, so I wouldn't say it's a common choice, but it's doable. You CAN get pretty much anywhere in London on foot, and always feel safe. When you do want to Tube it, the nearest station is about a 10 minute walk away, tops. As for the accommodations, the shower has strong water flow and great hot water, the kitchen is fully equipped and quite large, the bedroom is roomy and comfortable with cozy bedding, and the living room is very large, plus the couch makes a fantastically comfortable bed. I can't wait til I can come back!

Great location, great communication

This flat is outside the hustle and bustle of the most touristy areas, but the location is very accessible from anywhere. The flat is basic but comfortable. The host was communicative, and checking in was painless. There is a flight of narrow stairs. I was in London on a really hot weekend, and we could have used an additional fan. Also, the kettle didn't work. However, the whole experience was great, and I would recommend this flat for a family traveling with children.

Quiet neighborhood and comfy flat.

Great location for people who enjoy a little walking and not afraid of stairs. Clean and very spacious with just the right amenities for a longer stay through London and the extended area by both train and car. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

"Oversized" is very fitting. We needed a place with a separate sleeping area for our adult son (we were visiting him in England) and the tv room not only had a nice pull-out but also a door for privacy. Easy walk to the M&S grocery store and a couple steps further to the tube station (a few stops to Paddington). Abbey Road studios is about a half hour walk (I made my pilgrimage). Lots of ways to make coffee (pour-over, french press, bialetti moka express -- and of course the Nespresso machine). Couple caveats: - bring laundry detergent or tabs if you plan on laundry - don't expect the combo machine to dry your clothes; use the drying rack after the spin cycle and once they are dry use the dryer cycle to fluff and warm them
