SituĂ© dans des jardins matures et attrayants, cet appartement d'une chambre double aux dimensions gĂ©nĂ©reuses a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© dans un style classique contemporain. À seulement 200 mĂštres de la place branchĂ©e de Battersea, vous trouverez de nombreux restaurants et bars Ă  quelques minutes de marche. Ou promenez-vous le long de la charmante promenade fluviale et traversez le pont Battersea jusqu'Ă  Chelsea, Ă  seulement 12 minutes Ă  pied de l'appartement. Battersea Village est un complexe fermĂ© Ă©douardien spĂ©cialement construit avec ses propres jardins bien entretenus, oĂč par beau temps, vous pouvez vous asseoir dehors avec un verre ou un pique-nique. Juste en face de nous, il y a un petit parc, y compris un court de tennis municipal qui est gratuit.
La gare la plus proche est Clapham Junction (la gare la plus frĂ©quentĂ©e d'Europe!), Ă  8 minutes Ă  pied. De Clapham, il faut compter 7 minutes pour se rendre Ă  Victoria, Waterloo ou 35 minutes pour l'aĂ©roport de Gatwick. Il y a un arrĂȘt de bus juste Ă  l'extĂ©rieur qui peut vous emmener Ă  Chelsea, Pimlico et Victoria ou vers Roehampton. Il y a aussi un rang «vĂ©lo de ville» juste Ă  l'extĂ©rieur. C'est un appartement spacieux et Ă©lĂ©gant pour deux personnes dans un immeuble bien entretenu dans un cadre attrayant et paisible, prĂšs de la riviĂšre. Il est dans une excellente position pour tirer le meilleur parti des fantastiques installations Ă  proximitĂ©. Il ne convient pas aux enfants, car il existe un certain nombre de meubles et d'accessoires en miroir / dĂ©licats qui ne rĂ©sisteront pas Ă  une utilisation nĂ©gligente. Mais ce sont ces choses qui l'Ă©lĂšvent au-dessus de la location moyenne! Les clients doivent ĂȘtre ĂągĂ©s de 30 ans et plus et doivent agir en tout temps avec considĂ©ration envers les voisins dans cet endroit calme et paisible! Very cute place. I really enjoyed the unique decor. The location is really great- lots of restaurants and cafes nearby as well as being in walking distance of Clapham Junction. Just a few minutes from the Thames which is also nice for a river walk. It’s a quiet neighbourhood as well.

Battersea

Great central location to all of London, the 170, 44 and train all very easy to get to and use. The owner and his staff went out of their way to help us do to the timing of our arrival from Southampton to Battersea. I would recommend this as a excellent choice, it's a bit noisy due to the helicopter that comes and goes during the day, but very quiet at night considering it's central location.

Lovely Flat in Nice Battersea Neighborhood

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at Paul and Fiona’s flat. It was easy to find and is accessible by public transportation. Each day we ventured out by the 170 or 344 on our various journeys around London. We feel like experts because this was our fifth visit in seven years. The flat was exactly as described. The decor was tastefully done. (I actually picked up a few ideas for our home) The supplies for a comfortable stay were numerous. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals. The bathroom had all the necessities and the bedroom was very comfortable. I love the decor in the living room. Paul was a gracious host and Gosia was very helpful, even expertly carrying my luggage up the flights of stairs. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this flat as a location to access all of London. Clapham Junction is the nearest rail station with access to the London Overground and Southern Rail. It is also close to Lidl, ASDA, and local versions of M&S and Sainsbury's for picking up easy to fix meals. There are lots of nice eateries nearby within short walking distance. Thank you much Paul, Fiona and Gosia for making our holiday wonderful!

Lovely place to stay

The apartment was lovely 
 comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully-decorated. It’s in a gated complex and quiet. Close to bus and Underground and train services. It’s also within minutes of the Thames River Walk. Paul and Fiona are responsive and provide an excellent level of detail about the apartment and neighborhood. Thank you!

Great flat

If you are like us and want to get away from the crowds this place is great. Very comfortable for two people. It is a short walk to several bus lines. One of the buses (344) is 4 stops to the new Battersea Power Station underground station on the Northern Line. There is is a Tesco Express and Sainsbury Local near by. The is a large M&S Food Hall at the Power Station.

Our London “home”

We were so very pleased with our stay at 24Winfield House a week or so ago. The flat was equipped with all we needed and was delightfully decorated. Best of all, was the attentiveness of the owner, Paul. From our initial booking to checkout, he was cordial, always helpful and at hand for anything we needed. From plumbing to directions to initial tour and even a few provided groceries, Paul and Fiona ranked at the top. Thank you, both.

A week in London

Very well equipped london apartment. Check in was easy, very quiet location. 15 minutes to nearest tube but always a taxi available if required. Kitchen well stocked and a comfy bed. Rooms all a good size, we will definitely think about returning next time we visit London. Paul.

Beautiful Battersea stay!

Our stay in Battersea was beyond expectations! The flat is such a comfortable place to come home to after exploring London. We didn't really cook but the kitchen seemed well appointed enough if you wanted to. The bed was super comfy and the host/manager were both very responsive in regards to any questions or issues we had. Location wise, it isn't the most walkable for the main tourist type things but there is tons of stuff to explore on foot nearby including groceries, coffee shops, cafes, stores, parks and pubs. And the bus picks up right out front for those must see things farther away. The proximity to the Thames is amazing too, great for evening strolls. Overall, we didn't want to leave!

Great flat by the Thames

We had a great stay in this flat. It is exactly as pictured. Very comfortable with all the amenities. Not close to a tube station but we were able to manage on the bus(es). It is also on the second floor with no elevator. The owner was very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information on the area. Great place to return to after a day of touring. And great walks close by along the river and in Battersea Park.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bad mit Fenster. HĂŒbsche KĂŒche. Sehr schönes Schlafzimmer mit guter Matratze! Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Wohnung und Umgebung. Katzensprung zur Themse, ruhige Lage, dabei mit Bus zu Victoria Station in gut 10 Minuten. Schöne SpaziergĂ€nge entlang des Flusses zum Battersea Park. Sehr freundliche Leute in unserer Wohnanlage. Paul hat einen Ordner in der Wohnung hingelegt, in dem alles Wissenswerte genau erklĂ€rt wird. Absolut zu empfehlen!!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely flat for 2 weeks in December. Perfectly located, very clean, well equipped, bright and spacious. Felt like we were coming home each day. Comfortable bed and lovely bedding. I would definitely return. Nicer than the pictures

Best VRBO I’ve Stayed At!

Paul (owner) personally met me at the property and walked around the neighborhood with me (thanks Paul!), unusual because he normally isn’t onsite. He and Fiona were so incredibly helpful when I was planning my visit and I can’t thank them enough! Regarding the condo itself, it is simply beautiful. Well-maintained and the decor is outstanding, they certainly didn’t skimp on linens or appliances. It’s a gorgeous place, everything I needed and more. The bed, omg THE BED. So so comfortable!! I don’t ever recall sleeping so well outside of my own home. Getting around is easy, either on foot or by bus, Uber, taxi, and overground trains. I particularly loved the walk to Clapham Junction station: easy, flat and approximately 12 minutes. On the way, you’ll see many cafes and small business you can visit. Nothing like an early morning stroll with a hot coffee in hand after a light London rain. I’m a single woman and felt very safe. The neighborhood is clean and gorgeous, surrounded by greenery and well-kept properties (and the Thames!). I loved every minute of my stay in Paul and Fiona’s flat, and can’t wait to come back in a few months!! 5 stars, wish I could give more. Outstanding!

Such a lovely property. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to bus stops, small neighborhood groceries and restaurants. Paul was a great help when needed and responded quickly. Very enjoyable.

Battersea/ London 8 nights

The apartment is just as represented, with excellent support from the property manager. The location was excellent for getting around central London. The 170 bus stops nearby and will connect to other lines, allowing easy transfers. Other bus lines stop nearby, so many options that way. We rented a car, and I have to say driving in London is a bit nerve-racking. I'm not sure I would do that again. The internet seemed a little slow initially, but did better later in our stay, not sure why. We were in London during the 10 day mourning period for the Queen and so some activities were restricted. This did not stop us from enjoying shopping and most museum visits! Food options are very good in Battersea. The Woodman pub was our favorite. The Battersea Rickshaw was next for Indian food. Gail's Bakery is a five minute walk and has great baked treats, delivered from large London baking hubs, along with coffees. Apparently Gail's is a chain with about 70 shops around London, but you would never know that while in this great little shop. Overall a great stay and if I went back to London, I would definitely consider staying here!

Comfort en ruimte.

Ruim appartement waar werkelijk niets ontbreekt. Stijlvol ingericht en een veilige groene omgeving. Koel ondanks de hoge buitentemperatuur. De schuiframen zorgde ervoor dat alles goed gelucht kon worden. Centraal gelegen met de bushalte voor de deur. De huurfietsen staan op de hoek. We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad.
