Cette cabane est situĂ©e au cƓur de Hocking Hills 4. 5 miles de Old Man Cave! TrĂšs proche des grottes, des sentiers, de la tyrolienne, des livrĂ©es de canoĂ«, du lac Logan, etc.

VĂ©ritable cabane en rondins avec 2 chambres privĂ©es en bas avec lits queen et un grand loft ouvert Ă  l'Ă©tage avec 3 lits queen. La cabine comprend Ă©galement une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, un salon avec une cheminĂ©e Ă©lectrique et une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat avec un lecteur DVD. Nous n'avons pas de rĂ©ception TV ou satellite / cĂąble mais il y a un restaurant Ă  6 km pour regarder le grand match! Ou vous devrez peut-ĂȘtre parler / vous connecter avec les personnes avec qui vous sĂ©journez ha ha. Nous avons d'autres cabines qui ont DirectTV si vous ĂȘtes intĂ©ressĂ©, faites-le nous savoir. Porche sur le cĂŽtĂ© avec bain Ă  remous pour 6 personnes. La rĂ©ception des tĂ©lĂ©phones portables est irrĂ©guliĂšre Ă  Hocking Hills et sur notre propriĂ©tĂ©. Nous avons une cabine tĂ©lĂ©phonique publique sur notre propriĂ©tĂ© pour votre usage. Vous pouvez Ă©galement obtenir un signal cellulaire si vous conduisez un mile en direction de la ville. Gril Ă  gaz sur le porche avant et foyer dans la cour avant pour griller / cuisiner. IdĂ©al pour votre rĂ©union de famille ou un grand groupe. Nous avons un total de 16 cabines disponibles et nous pouvons accueillir votre groupe jusqu'Ă  56 personnes.

The cabin was very poorly maintained, dirty and furnished with things that look like they had gotten from a garage sale. They had out cheap pumpkins, sunflowers, and fall leaves as decor, but we stayed in February! It was unlocked when we got there. There was a beer can in the hot tub, popcorn on the floor in one of the bedroom closets, and a cockroach in the bathroom. There was also a hole punched in one of the bedroom doors that they build us for but reverse the charge after I spoke with them. However, they did not feel that any of these things were caused for a refund on our stay. I will definitely never stay there again. I have booked through VRBO many times before and I’ve had great experiences This one was completely unacceptable.

We rented this cabin to take our son and some friends to Hocking Hills. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay, largely due to cleanliness and safety concerns.The photos are pretty deceiving. The cabin was not as clean and brightly lit as advertised. The cabin was sparsely stocked relative to the many other vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. Basic items were missing or left over from someone’s personal use rather than thoughtfully prepared for guests. Sheets and towels were old and worn and did not feel hotel- or rental-quality.More concerning were the serious safety issues we encountered. One of the boys sat on a sewing needle left in his bed, which is completely unacceptable, especially in a property marketed as family-friendly. Another major issue was a very loose electrical outlet installed directly in a carpeted floor upstairs. When one of the boys attempted to plug in a phone charger, the outlet began sparking, creating what felt like a very real fire hazard and something that appears not to be up to code. We got no reply from the hosts after contacting them about these issues during our stay. Overall, the property felt mismanaged and neglected — more like a set of cabins being minimally maintained rather than a properly run vacation rental. While the location itself served our basic need for a place to sleep and hang out for a night, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend it, especially for families with children.

Well it started with a dead mouse floating in the toilet. (I have picture) then mouse droppings on the counter and in the kitchen drawers. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. The heat wasn’t working. Had to use the tv/fireplace. There was ice on the walkway and no shovel. Overall not a great stay. I felt like when I messaged the host I was inconveniencing him. I should’ve listened to the reviews

This place is nasty.

The photos are deceptive. The floors look like they have never been cleaned, hard floors were sticky, carpets were stained, our socks turned the color of coffee after walking just a few steps. The grill was very dirty, looked like a fire hazard. We did not receive a response from a call to the manager. For a rate of 366, per night, this place was totally unacceptable, and not what we have experience at other VRBO offerings.This is not a place i would recommend. No one should consider bringing children to this cabin.

The location was a little sketchy. The cabin was very dirty. Took us 2 hours to cook a frozen pizza in the oven. There was no checkout instructions. The hot tub was nice, beds were comfortable.

Beware.

I rented this cabin for 1 night. It looked very promising going in, very cute good size great hot tub. It could be a great rental, and I understand rentals will not have super nice furniture/cooking utensils BUT the fridge is not full sized which for 1 night was fine. But the cleanliness was FAR from good. That should be the main priority and it is not. Mouse droppings in the bathroom in front of the shower and a mouse straight RAN across the living room floor while we were watching tv! We set a live trap and caught FOUR in the less than 24 hours we were there! There is a problem that is not being adressed, could be a great rental but needs a DEEP clean and the mice problem taken care of. Messaged the owner with no repsone or apology.

I was not impressed. I stay at cabins yearly in Tennessee and I will say this is the worse cabin I have ever stayed in. This cabin could be nice if it would be maintained

Never Booking Again

We were very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and safety of this place. There was a urine odor (especially on the throw red pillows which were wet , wet carpet and leaky wet floor. Black mold was in the bathroom and that was NOT clean. There were “stains” or actual recent fecal/mud/blood or unknown specimens on the pillow cases and sheets. The hot tub was unsanitary with dirt/debris and rust on the inside. The beds upstairs did not look clean at all. There were bugs, dust and other unknown physical matter on them. We found a lighter that was just sitting up there as well which indicates it hadn’t been touched since who knows which tenant was in there. There was also remnants of toilet paper, and tinsel all over the front of the cabin grounds. The kitchen was completely unusable and unsanitary. The stove was a fire hazard (if not already had burned on the front end). The garbage can was non functional. All of that and some more - all of the girls had to go spend the night at a hotel nearby due to concerns of lice/bedbugs/unknown bacteria...mold toxicity and dust allergens. This cabin was supposed to be used for a beautiful, safe and fun weekend to celebrate my sister's upcoming nuptials but turned into, unfortunately, a health hazard.

Oleander cabin mini vacay for 53rd birthday

We had a good time. Weather wasnt the greatest lost power had a roof leak. We had a couple issues but the property manager responded very quickly. The entrance was a little concerning getting to cabin. But the cabins itself was clean. So dont let the turn onto the road with the unkept trailers fool you. Once you get to the cabins all is well.

4 Night Stay in late April 2024

Cabin was nice - but did have a bit of a musty smell upon entering. Reminded me of a few hunting camps I've been in. Everything functioned as advertised but it could use some updating (kitchen appliances were pretty dated and the plates, cups/glasses, and sliverware were mismatched) also cookware is provide, but again dated and mismatched. The shower was small and bathroom in general could use some updates (especially the sink faucet and shower head) but again functional. With plenty of towels and washcloths. The bed was comfortable, and appeared clean. The cabin in general seemed pretty clean, but the kitchen floor needed a mopping. Overall it was a really nice week. Hot tub was definitely the best part. Very relaxing after some great hiking at Hocking Hills (which is an easy drive). Location of the cabin was easy to get to, and check-in was simple, with the keys in a lock box. Unfortunately, the neighboring property has a lot of junked cars, trailers, and other junk (literally looked like a junk yard) which you have to pass to get to the property. Certainly not the owner/managements fault, just a shame it's so close to the Blue Rose cabins. Overall I'd rate this particular cabin (Oleander) a 6.5. It was a step up from a hunting cabin, but not as updated as most vacation rentals. With a little more cleaning and a few updates, I could see this particular cabin being closer to the 8.2 it's rated on VRBO.

Girls trip

We had a great time! Very, very muddy!!! Had a fire and fire pit and area not very nice but we made the most of it. Didn’t have all supplies we needed to cook but overall it was a great weekend. Drove to Old Man’s cave to hike, easy drive. Thank you! Great memories were made.

Lacked cleanliness

The cabin is not very clean. The sheets had hair one them, the bathroom sink/faucet hadn’t been cleaned, and the kitchen was not sanitary to cook in. It was disappointing.

Good enough

We only needed a place for one evening so this was sufficient enough. The property itself was exactly as described, but unfortunately the inside needs a deep cleaning. I live out in the country so I understand floors having sand and dirt on them. The walk into the house has a sand type dirt so that is going to be hard to keep out of the house. That did not bother me, just be sure to pack a pair of slippers or something to walk around in. What bothered me was the dishes were not clean at all. There was food on the silverware and utensils. The stove had food splattered all over it as well. The counters were sticky and grimy. There were dead gnats all over the stove hood. As I said, this was sufficient enough for our overnight stay, but had we needed it for a longer period of time it would have been a little disappointing. The location is super convenient to all Hocking Hills adventures and is really close to town so that made things easy as far as that is concerned. One more HUGE piece of advice. Be sure to read the directions that are sent from the property owner to find the correct cabin. There are several tucked back off the same drive and it could be easy to get the wrong one. The directions that were provided were spot on and we found it without problems.
