Set apart from the main house, the Carriage House offers a quieter, more private experience while remaining fully connected to the historic grounds and gardens. The Hemingway Spa Suite is ideal for guests drawn to character, warmth, and a sense of escape that feels immersive and slightly daring.
The Suite
The space is defined by a vaulted ceiling with rough-hewn wooden beams, creating an immediate sense of scale and drama. Light filters through gothic-style windows, casting a soft glow that enhances the suite's layered textures and deep, earthy tones. Bamboo accents and masculine wood furnishings evoke a world of travel, storytelling, and creative retreat.
At the center of the suite is a king-sized featherbed, offering comfort and simplicity beneath the soaring ceiling. A fireplace anchors the living area, adding warmth and atmosphere throughout the day and evening. The separate sitting area features an overstuffed couch and a lounging chair, providing ample space to read, relax, or unwind after a day exploring the city.
