This tranquil Cornish getaway offers the chance to unwind in the great outdoors, with wonderful walks nearby ranging from rugged moors to sparkling seas. It has space for five guests in two bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, friends or families. Enjoy a relaxing ambience, unique style and delightful views from the raised terrace.
Head up the five external steps and into the lodgeâs utility room, where you can kick off your boots and hang up coats. Youâll be impressed as soon as you enter the open-plan living space, with its joyful African theme and bamboo-lined, vaulted ceiling. Here thereâs a superb kitchen that includes a wine cooler and a breakfast bar for four, as well as a cosy dining nook with banquette seating. After supper you can snuggle on a bean bag with a book or lounge on the corner sofa and switch on the Smart TV. When youâre ready for bed, the king-size room has a stylish en-suite shower room with walk in shower and double sinks, while the triple room features a king size double bed with a full size single bunk above. The large family bathroom has a gorgeous, free standing, roll-top bath. For fresh air, views, stargazing and al fresco meals, open the doors onto the deck or use the lawned garden with its large patio and furniture. There is private parking for two cars.
This unique escape is located on the fringes of the quaint village of Pensilva, 5 miles from Liskeard with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Head to Golitha Falls â hugely popular with families and dog walkers â for beautiful woodland and waterfalls, 5 miles away, or Cadson Bury Hill Fort, 4.5 miles distant, which offers far-reaching views from the summit. For scenic hikes, the edge of Bodmin Moor is just 4 miles away, while numerous beaches can be reached within 22 miles, including Seaton, Looe, Polperro and Polruan.
