Located on a farm 10 miles from Liskeard, it’s an idyllic escape for couples, friends or small families looking to unplug from everyday life. You can enjoy woodland walks and nature trails around the estate, taking in the wonderful views as you go. And while it might be tempting to stay put, the coast is only 5 miles away. Spend the day exploring the rock pools and sheltered coves of Talland Bay or enjoy classic seaside fun at East Looe Beach with gentle paddles and strolls along the famous Banjo Pier. Slightly further down the coast is the historic fishing village of Polperro (6 miles), home to a delightful model village and smuggling museum.
Set on raised decking, the pod is a cosy private sanctuary where comfort and simplicity blend perfectly. On cooler evenings, fire up the wood burner to fill the space with a warm, inviting glow. The sofa bed is a snug spot to curl up with a cosy crime novel, and it can also be used to sleep children or up to two extra guests. In the kitchenette, you'll find all the essentials you need for simple indoor holiday cooking including a 2-ring hob and a fridge with ice box, with local treats awaiting in the welcome hamper. A separate sleeping area features a comfortable king-size bed dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and soft hypoallergenic bedding for a restful night's sleep. Waking up to the sounds of nature and sunlight filtering through the canvas is a real joy. Completing the pod set-up is a shower and composting WC, accessed from the decked area outside.
Cook dinner on the BBQ in your own outdoor space as the sun dips below the skyline and take your front-row seats for the evening’s spectacular stargazing show. Secure dog areas keep your playful pups safe, and there’s also a shared dog exercise paddock to let them burn off some energy. Additional on-site facilities shared with other guests include a hot tub, gym and fairy trail, while alpaca treks around the grounds offer a memorable experience. Private off-road parking is provided for one car.
