Welcome to our elegant designer studio, tucked away in a quiet, cobbled square atop Lisbon’s iconic Castle Hill. Located in a beautifully restored 100-year-old building—fully renovated in 2021—this ground-floor studio seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern-day comfort in the heart of historic Alfama.

Flooded with natural light from large traditional windows, the space offers serene views of tiled rooftops and lush greenery. Inside, you’ll find a cozy sleeping area with a comfortable double bed, high-quality linens, and plush pillows, perfect for restful nights after a day exploring the city. A wall-mounted Smart TV with cable is available for laid-back evening entertainment.

The compact kitchenette is thoughtfully equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, electric stovetop, mini-fridge, and even a dishwasher—plus all the essential cookware, dishes, and utensils needed for light meals. The private bathroom features modern fixtures, a glass-enclosed shower with excellent water pressure, and a bright, minimalist design.

Decorated with soft neutral tones and warm textures, the studio exudes a calm, curated atmosphere. While there`s no air conditioning, a fan is provided, and double-pane windows help reduce outside noise, maintaining a peaceful ambiance indoors. Ideal for short stays or couples traveling light, this studio offers a unique and restful base in one of Lisbon’s most atmospheric neighborhoods.

Our studios are located in the most ancient quarter of the city: the famous Alfama! Specifically, in Largo da Achada, a tiny cobble-stoned square with a small drinking fountain in the Castle`s Hill. The building facing the studio is one of Lisbon’s oldest houses built in the 1500s!
In this picturesque neighborhood composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps you`ll find most Fado houses, tiny squares, churches, and amazing lookout points. The 11th century Moorish Castle and Miradouro da Graça terrace are the best!

» Guests are required to fill a form with ID/Passport information before check-in.
» Late Night Check-In: for arrivals between 21:00 (9 PM) and 9:00 (9 AM) a late check-in fee of €25 will apply. This amount must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
» If guests lock themselves out of the property or do not return the keys to the lockbox at checkout, a 50 euros fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80 euros fee will apply. In case our team is unable to unlock the door and there is the need for specialized assistance, additional fees will apply.
» The building is acessible only by stairs, as there is no elevator available.
» A €100 security deposit is required to book this property. The deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property, within 7 days of check-out.
