The Blue Bungalow - Private Dock/Quiet Cove - 3Bedroom/2 Bath



Welcome to The Blue Bungalow! Come Play & Recharge! We’re located on the 28.5 MM tucked away in a quiet, but convenient, no wake cove. Great if you’re looking to swim off the dock, go kayaking, fishing & just not having to worry about much boat traffic. All still within quick access to the main channel's restaurants and bars. By boat we're in close proximity to Millers Landing & Marina, Landshark Bar & Grill (Margaritaville), The Fish & Co, Paradise Tropical Restaurant & Bar and much more. By car we're close to Big Surf Water Park, Seven Springs Winery, Margaritaville, Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park and just up the road there is a conveniently located gas station that has full Deli and Pizza.

12 Min drive to Osage Beach and all it offers including Dierberg's grocery store and unlimited dining options (our favorite is Mama Cita's)

The Blue Bungalow has plenty of outdoor space. House features 3 levels of deck space. Top level deck located on the main floor of the home includes a grill, a long handcrafted bar top and chairs to sit and admire the view in the mornings drinking coffee or while having a sunset beverage after a hot summer day. Also on the main floor is the recently updated kitchen that is fully stocked with all of the basic kitchen essentials & coffee station. On the same level there is a full bath (shower/tub combination), a washer & dryer including detergent for your convenience. The entire house also features brand new flooring that was just installed in 2022.

2nd level of the house features 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with queen beds, blackout curtains, smart tvs. One of the bedrooms includes twin bunk beds. There is also a full bath (shower/tub combination). Two of the front bedrooms have sliding doors that lead onto the 2nd level of the deck with quick access to picnic table and extra deck space for gathering.

The dock includes an extra swim platform/ sun deck, table & chairs, a bluetooth enabled sound system, KAYAK & PADDLE BOAT. We also have two spots available for jet ski parking. We do not have a boat slip available for use, but you can tie up to the side of the dock if needed.

++ If you plan to rent a boat in the late Fall & into Spring months (end of April early May) this property sits in the back of a shallow cove. Depending on the year you may not be able to park a boat near dock until water has reach certain level ++

Quiet cove

The kids immediately went to play with the large connect four game until they noticed how close we were to the water and that we had our own private dock, the kids also enjoyed the canoes. I enjoyed the mornings sitting on the deck sipping coffee watching the wildlife and steam burning off the lake, very relaxing. Will defiantly try to rent again for our next trip.

Almost perfect

Loved the location and the water was very calm which was nice for us with small children. The house is very nice and has everything you’ll need during your stay. The games and kids size table were great extras to have. We had a couple of maintenance issues while we were there and the host was extremely responsive and quick to fix them. The only thing that would have improved our stay is if the host provided life jackets. They have always been provided at other locations we’ve stayed so we didn’t think of it until right before we were about to travel. Would have been nice to have that specified in advance and really thought it would be provided considering they have the kayaks and paddle boat. Other than that we had a fabulous time! What a great rental!

Stayed here for a birthday weekend get away and it was wonderful!

We loved the stay! Very clean and cozy, lots of deck space and lots of room on the dock for activities - swimming, fishing, reading, games. Excellent time! Thank you so much to our host!

Great area and house

My family and I really love this cove. It’s quiet and towards the end of the cove which allowed us to swim, kayak, paddle boat and fish without worry of boats coming through. The house was good size for our family of 5 and the dock was a great place to hang out.

Great quiet lake retreat

The house was beautiful- modern with lots of natural light. The kitchen is stocked nicely as well. We also loved the dock, lily pad, kayaks and paddle boat. Having a no wake zone was so great for the kids to swim freely. Our only suggestion is to get more comfortable furniture like a sectional. Otherwise it was a beautiful home in a perfectly relaxing area of the lake. The owner was also so responsive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it!

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed at this property for 3 nights over memorial weekend. The house was very clean and a great size for 2 small families. Our kids enjoyed the dock to fish off as well as access to the paddle boat and kayaks. Kelsea was amazing and always responded back to me within minutes if I had a question or needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Getaway!

We had an amazing time at The Blue Bungalow. It was such a great CLEAN place. Everything inside looks brand new, had everything we needed. My wife loved the boho style. My family LOVED spending time on the private, yes PRIVATE Dock, could hardly get the kids off the kayaks and paddle boats. The views of the lake in the morning were incredible, my wife and I had coffee every morning up on the top deck bar. So much outside space and dock space. All the beds were comfortable. The owner was super communicative, she was on top of it. And answered all our questions. We rented a boat and from the dock at the house it was literally 5Minutes by water to Margaritaville!!! Can’t wait to come back to The Blue Bungalow, thanks for everything!
