Detached Guest House: (add-on to rental before June 21st and after Sept 13th - otherwise included)Â - King bedroom, Queen and Twin bedroom, Full bathroom, Living room, Kitchenette
**Please NOTE- the guest cottage is an additional $1000.00/week plus processing and taxes (before June 21st and after September 6th) if guests would like to add on additional accommodations. There will not be access if the cottage isn't added on in advance of your stay.
DOGS PERMITTED? No, dogs are not considered at this property.
This high-end, custom built quintessential lakefront cottage is idyllically located â and just 30 feet from its own private dock on Norton Pond. The guest cottage was also spared no expense when it was built and is just across the camp road from the main cottage. With lake frontage and views from most rooms, you will feel like you have found the perfect spot for relaxation and family fun.Â
Upon entering Lake Escape, you are greeted with a deluxe kitchen with custom cabinetry, a dining room, and large living room complete with custom cabinery and stainless steel appliances all overlooking the Pond. Down the hall you will find the primary king bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a hall bathroom with laundry as well. Up the open stairwell, there are two queen bedrooms with built-in seating and desk areas. There is a hall bathroom with a tub shower for both to share.Â
The guest cottage across the camp road provides other accommodations for a couple or small family that would like some privacy or just some additional space to read a book or watch a movie. The cottage has a king bedroom and a room with one queen and one twin. The custom bathroom is shared. The cottage features a kitchenette and living room area with a 48 in wall-mounted Smart TV.
Lake Escape is just an 8-minute drive into downtown Camden and Penobscot Bay waterfront. The cottage is walking distance to the Lincolnville General Store, which offers grocery basics, as well as, gourmet entrees and pizza, along with local organic produce. Lincolnville Beach is a short 10-minute drive and Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are less than 2 hours from the house for a perfect day trip up scenic Route 1.
The yard is beautifully landscaped and well-manicured with a lot of privacy with two fire pits and hammock by the water's edge to enjoy your peaceful time at the lake.Â
