Combine rural character and charm with the buzz of inner-city living and you have The Gingerbread House. A unique 1880's property located in the suburb of Bracebridge just outside the bustling centre of the historical city of Lincoln and also boasting excellent connections to the surrounding countryside and its many beautiful manor houses and gardens.
With its storybook facede, this spacious 4-bedroom property sleeps up to 9 guests, creating the perfect base for large families or groups of friends to getaway. With fantastic features such as a games table and private hot tub, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone. The homely living room offers a comfortable space for guests to gather and put their feet up at the end of a busy day or perhaps enjoy a movie or two on the Smart TV.
The spacious kitchen comes fully equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, electric cooker, kettle and toaster as well as a full set of cookware, tableware and glassware so you have everything you should you choose to spend the evening in the property cooking up a family feast.
Adjacent to the kitchen you will find a charming dining room which comfortably accommodates the maximum number of guests but the most exciting feature about the dining room is that is can be easily converted into a games room! With a simple adjustment to the dining table, you can challenge your family and friends to a game of table tennis or pool whilst enjoying a background of movies or music on another Smart TV.
The fun doesn't end there as well as outdoor furniture to indulge in some al fresco dining in the warmer months, there is also a private hot tub which allows guests to enjoy the outdoor space all year round. Simply pour a glass of your favourite and gaze at the stars in your own bubbly haven.
On the first floor of the property there are four well-appointed bedrooms as well as two contemporary bathrooms and an ensuite.
Bedroom one features a double bed and a single day bed which is a great solution for those travelling with young children who may not wish to stay in their own room. The bedroom also boats a private ensuite, with a walk-in shower.
Bedroom two has two single beds which are suitable for two adults or younger children. Bedroom three features single bunk beds and finally, bedroom four is another double bedroom.
These bedrooms are served by a main family bathroom which boasts a large walk-in shower as well as clean, fresh styling. Please note, there is no bathtub in this property.
