Whether you're unwinding amidst the peaceful lakeside surroundings, exploring miles of picturesque walking trails, or diving into an array of exciting water sports, every moment here is designed to be special. The surrounding area is brimming with charming villages, with breathtaking hikes across Dartmoor National Park (10 miles) and the Roadford Lake Activity Centre (1.5 miles) on your doorstep. Thanks to its convenient position near the A30, this is a fantastic base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. The coastal town of Bude (20 miles) is within easy reach, boasting golden sandy beaches and excellent dining options. You can visit the historic streets of Clovelly, the surfing haven of Widemouth Bay, and the legendary Tintagel Castle—all within 25 miles.


Inside, this stylish and spacious lodge has been thoughtfully designed to offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The open-plan living area seamlessly blends the lounge, kitchen, and dining space, creating the perfect environment for socialising and unwinding. The contemporary kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, making meal preparation effortless, while the inviting dining area is ideal for enjoying long, leisurely meals with loved ones. The lodge features three beautifully furnished bedrooms. The master suite offers a restful retreat with a king-size bed, generous storage, and an en-suite shower room. Whilst there is also a twin bedroom and further double bedroom. All bedrooms host wall-mounted Smart TV’s. A contemporary family bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC ensures convenience for all guests, making this an ideal choice for families, friends, or couples looking for a relaxing getaway.


Step outside to discover a fantastic private terrace designed for outdoor living at its finest. The large south facing patio runs the full length of the lodge and hosts a peaceful space for enjoying your morning coffee, dining alfresco, or sipping a glass of wine as the sun sets. For ultimate relaxation, sink into the bubbling hot tub and let the warm water ease you into holiday mode. An outdoor dining table with seating for six makes meals in the fresh air a breeze, while the Hook and Cook BBQ holders allow for easy grilling with disposable BBQs—ideal for those who love to cook outdoors. Guests also have access to a shared gym at no extra cost, perfect for keeping active during your stay. With a woodland path leading directly down to Roadford Lake, adventure and relaxation are always just moments away. The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated just along from reception in two designated parking spaces. The EV charging point is by VendElectric, and charging will have associated costs as normal via their app.
