Epic hotel. True old school bourbon eloquence vibe. Everything was spectacular. The lobby, the room, the outdoor alley breakfast area, and the epic rooftop bar that overlooks the city.
Loved the overall decor and dining experience. Electrical issues in room as well as a non working hot tap in the bathroom sink was frustrating. Hotel did comp our amenities to make up for it.
I loved the hotel over all and the bar and restaurant. Staff is great! I was in room 701, the penthouse. It was lovely, great moody feel, very thoughtfully curated decor. The whole hotel is like this. There's nothing else like it inLexington.
My only complaint is this suite shares a common wall with the rooftop bar. And the music comes through loud and clear from the time it opens to the time it closes at 10:30pm. The living room couch is up against this wall. This makes watching TV a challenge even at a comfortable higher volume. I could have watched in the bedroom but I really didn't want to lay in bed.
So, if you want to chill after working a long, hot summer day I would not recommend 701. I am sure any other room would be perfect. This is the only room next to the bar.
Having said all this, I will return to the Manchester next year for Derby finals!
What a gem of a hotel! My husband and I wanted a nice hotel to stay during our cross-country road trip and this was perfect. We arrived at 8:30pm, checked in quickly and were at the rooftop bar by 9pm. Dinner and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was great. The room itself was cozy and swanky at the same time. Great in-room bar and snacks, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. I slept through the night, which is not my norm! Breakfast in the lobby was delish as well, and service was great. When back in Lexington, we will definitely stay again.
I have never stayed at a better hotel. From the valet guys to the front desk to the people that brought us ice. This was the most incredible stay. Made my wedding weekend all the better. Thank you all and your amazing staff!
Decor and condition was fantastic. We stopped overnight on our way back East, but after our experience, we are considering making a trip back just to stay in the Manchester again. Only drawbacks were limited seating in our room (stayed in the Quad) and both bars were closed by 11 pm on a Thursday night.
The hotel was great. We could walk to District 7 area. The shuttle took us downtown, and to out excursion and airport. It was awesome. Thank you for the great southern hospitality .
We loved the trendy vibe of the hotel â everything felt stylish but still cozy. We ended up eating most of our meals right at the hotel and honestly, the food didnât disappoint. Service was consistently great, our bed was super comfortable, and the whole place was spotless. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing and tasty stay!
Classic themed hotel harkens back to the 40s or 50s with it's ambiance and decor. Staff was accommodating and friendly, bed was super comfy, and the bespoke boutique theme was welcoming.
