Peaceful, Comfortable, and Perfect for a Special Weekend!

Our son and his bride were married at Heritage Valley Farm in Lenoir, and we were so glad we chose Longwood Cabin for our stay—it ended up being only 3 minutes from the venue! Tamara was super helpful and kind, even responding to a message I sent before booking to confirm the distance. The response time for any questions i had during the stay was excellent!The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for all of our family to spread out or gather together. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals, and the comfy living spaces made it easy to relax. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck each day, taking in the peace and quiet, and the fire pit was the perfect spot to unwind on Friday night.The basement area was perfect as a private space, especially if you're traveling with a young family. It includes a bedroom with bunk beds, a queen bed, and a twin bed, along with a full bathroom. There's also a cozy living area with lots of seating, a fireplace, and a full-size pool table—plenty to keep everyone entertained and comfortable.Longwood Cabin truly was a retreat for relaxing after the excitement of the wedding festivities. If we’re ever in the Lenoir area again, we’d absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a beautiful place to relax! Thank you Tamara!

Great stay

We were in town for a dance competition and this was a perfect spot for our group of 8. It was very clean and well stocked. The location was tucked away and fairly close to our venue. The host was super responsive and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future for dance!

2025 New Years

We spent 5 nights 6 days that included New Year's Eve and Day at this cabin with our family of 12. The cabin fit our family perfectly. We visited Asheville, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Downtown Boone on this trip. All within driving distances from this location. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Great Stay

Lovely!

Came for a wedding to NC and this cabin was great! Clean, comfortable and all the amenities for a large group. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend it to others. Host was very accommodating with all info needed so there was no guess work.

Wedding weekend

Three generations stayed at the house for a family wedding at the Double J Farm. We had 10 people & we were comfortable. It has plenty of gathering spaces & is in a beautiful setting. I would recommend adding more bath towels and hand towels as well as having a few extra garbage bags available to the guests.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was exactly what we needed for our weekend stay for a family wedding. We had 9 people stay and the bedroom layout and 3 full bathrooms accommodated everyone perfectly! Tamara was super quick to answer any questions we had before arriving. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Very kind host

We were very happy with the attentiveness of our host, Tamara, but the cleanliness of the house was subpar and there were no toiletries, ie shower soap, shampoo, extra toilet paper and paper towels. We had to end up buying our own toilet paper and napkins to have enough to accommodate our family, as well as soap/shampoo. I think for the cost of the home, that should be included or at least listed that it isn’t supplied. The house was in need of a very deep clean but the beds were amazing and the entire vibe of the house was perfect! We are grateful for the memories made in this home.

Family Wedding

One of the best VRBO homes we've ever stayed in! Everyone said how comfortable the beds were. We enjoy cooking and eating together. The kitchen was well equipped! The basement suite was perfect for our teenagers. I have zero complaints!

Better than expected

We were looking for a large place that would keep everyone comfortable without breaking the bank. This place is beautiful and well decorated. The bathrooms are all renovated and it looked really clean. The porch sofa needs new seats, but it is not a deal breaker. The fireplace didn’t work right for us, but we did well without it. It was a little too dry for us, so a humidifier in the basement would be a great addition. The kids had fun with the games. Lastly, property has great privacy, but the road to get to the house is a little weird because it goes by some unkempt backyards. Keep driving, the house is past those houses and it very well kept. I recommend.

Christmas getaway

We had a great stay for our family Christmas reunion. Tamara was very prompt and helpful answering any questions and the place was very clean and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. The only minor inconvenience was the squeaky floor in upstairs loft bedroom.

Lovely Lenoir Stay

Our family rented the Long's lovely cabin for a wedding weekend celebration. This house was perfect for our large party. Plenty of blankets, beds, dishes, bathrooms, and seating. Tamara was quick to respond when I had to text her. We felt like family! The views all around the house are beautiful and very private and we enjoyed our stay very much!

This is a good place to stay in a convenient location. The house is nice with plenty of room, although there are some areas with squeaky floors and the view (mountains) is not spectacular. We would certainly stay there again!

Lovely countryside property

Very nice property with peaceful scenery - tree and rolling lawn views. Enjoyed gathering on the ample and well furnished deck and in the living room. Light filled living space with vaulted ceilings was lovely during the day. (Although as far as light goes, full upstairs main bedroom suite and lower level bedroom had no windows whatsoever). Bathrooms were nice and especially convenient to have the W/D available to us. Plenty of parking, which was super helpful given we had 4 cars between the 8 of us. Would have appreciated brighter light bulbs and more light sources in the bedrooms and more robust ammenities for the money, such as filled nuetral soft soap containers in the bathrooms and showers. (Not “Old Spice” or exfoliating and sparkling Coconut we found to use)
